upon having bought a curvy barbie i have now run headfirst into the question "where are the clothing patterns". it's the first doll-doll i've bought in years and i have no sewing experience but dammit alia will obtain t h e f a s h i o n ~needsmoarg4, who is trying to avoid tumblr but needs the advice lol

I’ve only used her MH boy stuff but the instructions are clear and things are well fitted and tailored so it’s very much worth the paying price for the patterns.

AND ANOTHER HASTILY-CONSIDERED THING - the anime soundtrack likes to farm from the movie soundtracks, which can have a radically-different style even when remixing familiar tracks. good example is mitsuhiko's mystifying forest which only uses a movie ost, including flying doves from movie 3 (aka "kaito drowns in birds while i play surprisingly fitting music")

In regards to 'why do they adapt something so late' I think the latest-adapted episode other than Fugitive Mouri Kogorou (which is technically a special) is the Moon, Star and Sun case, which somehow ended up as episodes 163-164 despite the cases around it being adapted over 100 episodes prior...

related to the pokémon au: last night while discussing cone my friend asked if haibara was "the fifth badge" (of the detective boys) and my response dissolved into her being a pokémon gym leader who favours pokémon with scary faces

i was thinking she would have ice types as a 'cold person' joke lol
