Carrot Patch
I started this one for Easter and got so busy with Easter prep, I didn’t get a chance to finish it until yesterday.

How to Make a Yarn Ball
Step 1: Find the end on your skein of yarn.
Step 2: Pull out some yarn and hold the end over your palm like so.
(I switched to purple for the tutorial because it shows the details better than the black. The black was just the only skein I had with me to show how to find the end.)
Step 3: Wrap the yarn several times around your hand.
Step 4: Remove the yarn from your hand and hold it by the end.
Step 5: Wrap more yarn around the middle to form a little bundle.
Step 6: Fold the bundle in half like so. This will be the core of your yarn ball.
Step 7: Continue wrapping yarn around the core, alternating directions randomly every few wraps until you’ve formed a small ball.
Step 8: Continue until the ball reaches your desired size.
