I do not think I should be surprised but the fact that when I go to the Markiplier TV (Web Series) / Markiplier Cinematic Universe on ao3 and there's more fics with some schmuck named Bim Trimmer (372) a game show host character, then Celine The Seer (191) an actual lore relevant character has me kinda miffed.

Like genuinely sorry if anyone reading this is a Bim Trimmer fan but... What? Is he like a precursor to JIM what am I missing here how is he more compelling than Celine...

LRB (is that a thing here) not to be a huge hater on main but i think the wc fandom should dislike the graphic novels’ visuals a little more. literally the only thing i like about it are the colors and that’s IT. sorry but that art style is Bad and really hard to take seriously.

A lot of the heartopia community is anti ai, we just get shut down, muted, and our messages deleted by the moderators in the discord and reddit

I only get downvotes and people replying "it's a chinese game, uninstall if you don't like it lol". Which I'm tired of this answer and a lot of replies people get towards concerns when they're into chinese games and stuff read like sinophobia to me man. Like "they're chinese they're not gonna listen!!" meanwhile I've seen Starsand Island devs reply to poor feedback on diversity and such and they are chinese too.

Like I get it. I went to SK last summer and they're all up into AIgen over there too, even in their national museum it was full of it. Their view on it is, generally very different to ours except for some of the artist sphere. But this game has a feedback ticket system, reviews, etc. What is the harm in making known we don't want this?

I literally got downvoted because I sent a ticket noticing machine translation and I want to improve it. Such as localizing the "Mopit" and suddenly translating it to the "Moabit", missing/chinese leftover text like they didn't even check it and a crazy amount of em dashes and unnatural dialog between Annie and Atara during the investigation cutscene, among other stuff I've seen. It had a nice localization at first but now they're getting real sloppy. And I don't want them to go the way of Infinity Nikki, I don't play it (I do play LaDS) but I heard in latin languages the machine translation is so bad the quests are confusing and fully unreadable and the characters suddenly say fully unintended out of pocket things like calling someone a whore lmao. Who wants this?? Why are people defending this??

I don't understand why the FAN reddit is so censored. Moreover if it was just this, but the toxic positivity, shut up or go away mentality of the players in the sub. If everyone against these choices, which are minor enough to look past but still irritating enough to bring up, were to boycott, global servers would be dead.

People criticize the most the things that they like and wish were better or different. It's not being some hater or something. Heartopia still has a lot of love put into all the detailed animations and human art and design, which is why it's a shame that it's a controversial game brought down by this stuff. We criticize it because we like this concept and see the potential, and don't want to quit playing over a moral dilemma. Idk what's not clicking to these people

I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't like At 25:00 in Akasaka.

Everyone else seems to love it, but I just find it boring as hell.

I made it through the first season which was ok. I've been making myself watch season 2, but looked at it today and just thought 'fuck it I just don't give a shit if I don't know if the play goes well or if their relationship survives etc' and therefore I realised why am I watching it.

Even the thought of getting some Shoma time can't get me interested, so fuck it I'll drop it with 3 eps to go.
