Negative Spirals and Stopping Them
Are you in a negative spiral? Are you slowly getting more and more angry or upset? Do you feel the urge to do something that will have harmful consequences?
STOP
Are you hungry?
Are you tired?
How's your temperature? Are you too hot? Too cold?
Are you thirsty?
Are you in physical pain?
Try eating something, doing some stretches, having a quick rest or nap. If you still feel angry or unhappy after dealing with your biological needs, then it's time to consider what else it could be. But make sure your body is as OK as it can be before making any decisions.
