Everytime someone has a problem with suselle they ALWAYS claim it's because noelle only sees susie as a bully and 'mean girl' COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that noelle is the FIRST character to think susie isn't that bad and tells kris to give her a chance then theirs chapter 2 where noelle PREFERS the real susie whos not a bully. AND! in chapter 4 this is continued!!!
"Noelle wants something from susie..." yeah! That something is a connection!!! Can we stop acting like noelle is exclusively into susie because she's a masochist? Like yeah sure that's PART of it, but you really REALLY have to be misunderstanding noelle if you think that's the only reason she likes susie.
Noelle admires susie, her assertiveness and yes she is also attracted to her physically. But the entire point is that she likes susie for BEING susie more than she likes her for being a 'bully'. Y'know the same thing ralsei likes about susie and the same thing kris likes about susie. Why is it suddenly different for noelle? Why can't she like susie for susie?
Why is she always reduced to being attracted to susie exclusively for the bully thing? It's been shown time and again that the two have things in common and bounce off each other just as well as everyone else does with susie, and unlike kris or ralsei she's never judged susie or upset her but secretly wanting susie to step on her is somehow worse than that? If anything her admiring susies 'bad' traits is a plus for the ship since she accepts susie for how she seems, but despite ralsei doing the SAME thing were he prefers susie as she is, noelles the only one ever painted as 'toxic'.
And it's always noelle who's painted as the one who 'wants' something from susie, not once have I seen a suselle criticism that claims susie would be bad for noelle, it's pretty much always that noelle is somehow going to hurt susies feelings ignoring how susie is equally as capable of hurting noelles!
