random thought nobody asked for ... i will never understand why dc took the oracle and removed her disability for some cool batgirl stuff again. like , as someone who is disabled ... it was a MAJOR BLOW to me. one of the things i liked the most about barbara , was that she found a way to be irreplaceable as a member of the bat family , WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO USE HER LEGS. she was a symbol to all disabled people out there that you can still do amazing things despite being paralyzed. anyways ... that's my rant for the day.

hello friends and community members. i'm just dropping a quick note because you have all obviously noticed the change in my server location as well as a new blog. this is due in part to my choice to cut ties with castor / blade / brogen. while normally i do not engage in callouts or any sort of community drama, in this case i feel that it is important to say my piece as it has come to my attention that over the last few years my partnership with this person has led to many people associating me with them, confusing me for them, and being left to wonder if my continued collaboration with them creatively is indicative of my endorsement of their toxic behavior. for the record i do not endorse the behavior i have come to learn is quite commonplace and native to castor / blade / brogen, and i want to be clear that i will never endorse or encourage that sort of behavior.

for the last two years i have been on the receiving end of castor's version of 'friendship', where she has love bombed me, collaborated with me, and acted as though we were close friends, while engaging in very discouraging and misleading conversations about me behind my back - in addition to pitting me against many valued and ( who i now know to be ) wonderful members of this community. for those i have hurt in the process of this friendship with castor, i am sorry and to those who are still being affected or who have no idea what i'm talking about, there is currently a call out circulating that can be found here. my experience with her was quite similar to this experience, though i will not be posting any sort of call out of my own.

thank you all for reading this, supporting me, giving me the opportunity to say my piece, and i hope we can all move forward together and start to heal and make amends into the future.

i will not be publicly addressing this ever again, but if you have concerns that you would like to bring to me privately please do so in the DM/IM's privately.

sometimes i really just get in these moods like. i don’t feel like i’m good enough™ or interesting enough™ for people idek. i’m just Tired of feeling like i’m just kinda here as a sideline interaction or that i’m not a good enough writer to really have people want to develop detailed things with.  replaceable, ig, is a good word.  i feel replaceable.   and it’ll pass, i’m sure, but man, i’m in a slump.   i don’t want to give up writing here or anything, i adore my muses,  i just.  ugh.

Idk if this helps in any way, but I feel you. Ever since I watched deadpool and he said that life's an endless series of trainwrecks with only brief commercial-like breaks of happiness i have sort of lived by that lol i don't think it's negative to think of it this way, just realistic. It honestly makes me enjoy the happy moments more when i remember that? Idk. Anywho, what I'm trying to say is, you're not alone and I'm here for you should you need someone. Your very existence already makes me smile, not to mention all your art does to me 🥰

yea i definitely agree with that; i think life is unspeakably hard sometimes and i do know that not every moment can be sunshine and rainbows, and i definitely do appreciate the moments that are a lot more because of it. sometimes i just struggle with the good times because i never know how bad the bad times will be after them, yanno? but i am getting a lot better at coping with those too, and even my worst bad moments are ions better than the best bad ones use to be, so that’s definitely something. thank you so much for being the lovely, kind, caring individual you are and popping in my inbox to say all those reassuring things. your humanity never fails to blow me away and people like you make me incredibly happy to be alive. i hope you know how many times you’ve made my day in the past few months <33333333 i adore you so much.
