His Voice

He asked me one day, drink in hand

he flung a look my way that was loud

So i said, chin up and heels grounded

everytime i got asked to answer this one question.

Spat his drank he raised his voice 

as he raised himself from this throne

he sat on made by him, known to none else

he was drunk. 

"no, you silly girl" he said with his tongue twisted

and eyes glistening with pain because I know he was hurt. 

"my daughter will never be a dancer"

he poured into his half full glass 

and watched it overflow and I overwhelmingly

had to stand in front of him and his act

as it grew on me.

Love me & the deep red.

Theres a man who loves me beyond the deep red of the leaves during the fall. He stands next to me while I march on and on leaving him behind on each corner. He overloads with emotions flowing and flowing and flowing so deep and out that he doesn't know how to be still. He cant seem to be still, and still he loves me like the deep red of the leaves during the fall. 

There's a feeling of joy that he provides that gets hard to bear sometimes because I don't want it to go away So i march on and away into another man's arm and he watches as I settle in like a bee and then march on, again, and again, and again and again until i'm left holding on to nothing. & there he stands with arms ready to catch me, so he can love me like the deep red of the leaves during the fall. 

He drowns in my ways of being and swims back up for air when I come around every time, every single time, after time after time I've told him to go, to let me be free and he refuses so I run out and around to find my mind, that I left behind but then I ran into a mirror and realized. There he was right behind me wanting to love me like the deep red of the leaves during the fall so we can watch them fall away from the trees together, so we can go home once again, together, so we can love each other like the sunrise of June and then love again as deep as the red of the leaves during the fall.

The Way You Make Me Feel

The way you make me feel is like nothing I've ever felt before. It's this energy so powerful that my heart just has no choice but to give into it. It's like living on clouds; in the heavens with you! Your my praise and worship everyday and I thank God for him delivering you to me. There is nothing I would ever change about us an the relationship we have. Its like magic to me the way you make me feel. It's like i'm under a trance or magic spell that even if i try to break free, this feeling i cant escape. & I don't want to escape it either. I love the way you make me feel. Even though sometimes it weakens me but at the same time it strengths me. Everyday with you is like new beginnings. A fresh start. A new challenge to overcome. You inspire me with your heart. You thrill me with your beauty! You lift me with your strength. You teach me with your knowledge. And you awaken me with your love. It's not often that you meet someone that makes you feel this way. As a matter of fact there's only one time in your life that you meet someone like you and Gotdamnit i'm lucky to have found you! Regardless of our struggles i only wish and pray for you to always be my side. And with those prayers and wishes comes a fight. I have to always keep you here by my side no matter what. Your my sidekick. My partner in crime and without you here i wouldn't be able to fight this world alone with all its chaoticness and imperfections.
