#neighbor problems

Hii! So sorry I disappeared, I had to grieve after the Pens got bumped out of the playoffs haha.

But on a more serious note, I have been having some problems with my neighbors (banging on the walls, loud sex, loud music, etc from 10pm until around 3ish am) during my exam week... and my property managers aren't doing anything about it.

I tried to ask them to quiet down about a week ago and now they're leaving condoms on my doorknob and silly stringing my window and purposely leaving music on all night and while it's technically harmless it's just very uncomfortable so I haven't been writing much.

I hope to have more time as I finish with exams tomorrow at noon!

(another note: Imma bout to punch in the wall. My neighbor has been imatating Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse constantly. I legit wouldn't mind it if couldn't hear literally everything and he did it every👏bloody👏night👏 until 2am)

As I listen to my noisy neighbor upstairs, I contemplate if staying here another year is a good idea.

We sold our house in Minnesota in November. Moved into an apartment for two months and then moved to Florida into an apartment. We planned to stay here for 2 years because moving sucks. But now I’m just constantly looking up houses for sale.

i love my new apartment and im so grateful for finally finding a place to live but like...one of my neighbors turns his tv on blast at 4 am every morning and my bedroom is right next to his living room. my other neighbor gives no fucks about what time it is, and is either screaming, just having normal conversations but loudly, or playing his music horrendously loud at all hours of the night.

this makes me sound like im 80 but like? anyone got any suggestions? i just moved into this building and dont want to get off on the wrong foot, but i have a feeling no one has complained before. do i just live my exhausted life or what do i doooooo

So my new neighbors in this duplex just moved in and started smoking like a chimney. Which wouldn’t be my problem except they smoke right next to my AC unit so that all that nasty stank blows right into my living room. 

I’m brainstorming ways to deter them from this behavior, if anyone wants to join in. I’m moving in two weeks so I don’t give a flying fart what they think of me.

My first idea was to walk outside wearing my Darth Maul robe and stand there in silence, staring at them until they break.

There’s a kid in my building, who I utterly swear is a psychopath, and I’m certain he’s going to grow up to be abusive and possibly a danger to others.  He -screams- constantly, not like a tantrum shriek, but a violent, rage-filled yelling - demands and complaints, telling his parents what to do, telling other kids what to do, belittling and insulting them when they don’t do what he wants. This kid needs therapy and discipline before he gets himself in jail, and the way the spineless milquetoast adults that spawned him ignore his behaviour is, in my opinion, neglect.  I want to talk to them, but I know what will happen.  They will cower and make excuses and shrivel into their shell of ‘I don’t speak English good’ (They speak it more than well enough for this conversation) and it’ll either become passively hostile or they will nod and smile and do nothing at all.  Either way, it won’t help. And I think we have a rather messed up society where this ‘isn’t my business’ and I ‘shouldn’t get involved’ because children are seen as something in between property and a craft project belonging to their parents - who are so aggressively hyped on the idea that they can raise these children however they want that they don’t even see how detrimental it is.
