something something about Sam fighting Higgs but both of them accidentally entered Neil's beach, which led to Higgs meeting Neil. Higgs finds out this Neil man is not just trying to kill Sam (just like Higgs) but also trying to fuck Sam (also like Higgs). So Higgs immediately attack Neil (the mistress in Higgs mind).

It turns into Higgs vs Neil while Sam escapes from them.

Neil secretly follows and investigates Sam because he wants to check the person Lucy married to but ends up falling in love with Sam. Now, he doesn't know if he is actually jealous of Lucy or Sam.

Another burnt egg, Neil sighed as he dumped the burnt food into the trash can. He never thought how much he's actually suck at cooking. This is the third time he tried making an omelette and ended up burning it.

It's almost the time for breakfast, and Lou will wake up soon. He thought he could cook for Lou and maybe impress her a little bit. Looks like they have to settle for bread and jam.

He shouldn't have lied to Sam about knowing how to cook. Neil volunteers to take care of Lou as Sam needs to go delivery important packages. Sam always cooks for Lou, and Neil thinks he can do the same even though he never steps into the kitchen.

He keep thinking about ordering food delivery, but the house in a more secluded place and porter rarely will come to this place.

note - that's it, i will continue writing later. I find myself able to write more when using tumblr and later expand more stuff on doc lol. The idea for the story is that Neil is terrible at cooking but lied to Sam about it. The ending is Lou tells Sam that she misses his cooking and Neil actually suck at cooking, but she still likes him even though he secretly order for food delivery and pretends to actually cook all the food.

I'm sorry i'm dumping this on you but you're the only one I've seen liking Neil/Sam.

In DS2 we can see how affectionate Sam really is... so I can't help but think he'd like to be given flowers and hold hands, and have Neil hold him from behind while he's cooking (just like in the beginning of the game), gently swaying from side to side to the rhythm of 'raindrops falling on my head' playing in the background, with Lou playing with her bright colored toys somewhere close by 🫠 both Neil and Sam taking turns feeding Lou, until she starts getting sleepy and Sam puts her to bed while Neil finished cleaning the dishes, both tuck her in and kiss her little forehead goodnight... slow dancing in the kitchen area because I'm a hallmark romantic pos and I want these two to have Soft and Romantic for once in their lives 😭

Anyways, I looooveeee soft sam and neil 🫶 They deserve to live happily raising Lou together. When Neil first starts giving flowers, Sam will act like a tsundere, but Neil knows that Sam is just shy with him and always gets super happy when he receives flowers from Neil.

In the past (bfr meeting Lucy again), Neil used to get nightmares of the time during the war and the ghosts of the women who come to haunt him for what he did. He always wakes up in cold sweats, crying for all the dead.

Now, Neil still got nightmares of the war, the faces of all the corpses of women he smuggled in for bridge still appear to haunt him, seeing Lucy's death again and again. Neil still waking up in cold sweats with tears running down his face, and each times Sam will gently hold him, wipes his tears, kiss his forehead, eyes and mouth and tell Neil that it's in the past now, that the war has long been over, that Neil is safe with Sam and Lou in their little home. It will always calm Neil down, knowing Sam and Lou are right here by his side, and Neil no longer needs to be alone, just like how Sam used to be (bfr DS1).

The nightmares lessen over time, just like Sam, Neil able to move forward and no longer bound by the past. Neil still mourn for the dead but now he no longer haunt by the nightmares because he knew he got his Sam and Lou by his side, and they are safe and alive.

(I want to add more but my brain that handle the creative imagination side just stop pumping out ideas 😔)
