Giggling and kicking my feet when the cherubs are brought up because although I'm still re-reading Homestuck and figuring out some plothole stuff it makes me realize that Crisis of Faith is both EXTREMELY self indulgent, but also indulgent in a very... happy and free way? Like, the goal is for the characters to be happy, for the characters to break the cycle, free themselves, do the impossible. It's about strange anomalies with extremely specific circumstances manifesting after COUNTLESS failed attempts and doomed timelines, I don't even know where Crisis of Faith would fit in the grand scheme of things and even that is something I aim to solve by having a Prince of Time straight up going 'fuck it we ball' and snip it free from all these countless threads of time.

It'll have some really wacky consequences that alter their own timeline for good, but it may just be for the better. Sometimes, you have to dismantle something completely in order to rebuild it better than it was. Nobody said it would be easy, it's not gonna be painless and it's 100% my ass struggling with whether or not I'm just being indulgent and cringe or not which y'know survivor's guilt is one hell of a drug to put your blorbos through.
