Neji, kiba, and shikamaru reacting to a guy flirting with their female crush?
Here it is! sorry it took so long. i’ve been writing scholarship essays so i was pretty burnt out to try and write any requests, but i should be posting a lot more this week! hope you like this :)

Neji
This prideful boy will never admit it but he is constantly keeping an eye on her
So he immediately notices how close this guy is, how suggesting his smirk is, and how he has her in uncomfortably close proximity.
He absolutely wants to step in, but that would make his feelings obvious and he doesn’t want that to happen yet
So he decides to stay close, but refrain from stepping in. He’s constantly reminding himself he’s not her boyfriend, and she can handle herself anyways.
But he genuinely cannot focus on anything at the moment. Not when this guy won’t stop eye fucking his crush just a few feet away from him.
His hands are clenched at his sides and his shoulders are stiff. He’s trying to relax because he doesn’t want to look as bothered as he feels but it’s a lost cause
Finally all this pent up frustration hits a breaking point and before he even realizes what he’s doing, he finds himself walking straight towards the two of you
The second he makes eye contact with her, she visibly relaxes and smiles at him, giving him all the permission he needed to drag her away from this situation.
He absolutely does not mind interrupting this guy to ask her how she’s doing. He’ll start an entire conversation with her without giving this man a single thought
Because to him, nothing else is worth his attention when he’s talking to her- especially not this rancid guy behind him
Obviously this guy is going to get irritated that Neji interrupted (what he thought) was a great moment, so he’s going to get Neji’s attention
But the next thing he realizes, he’s face to face with the hyuuga prodigy, and he’s pissed.
Neji’s not happy he has to actually speak to this guy, but he takes a moment to turn around with a menacing glare and say, “ah, please excuse me but I require her company right now so she’ll be leaving. Hope you don’t mind.”
But it was clear in his face and tone that Neji did not care how he felt in the slightest
He turns back around and nudges her arm and she begins walking away with him, slightly puzzled by the whole situation
“What was that all about?” she giggles
Neji turns his face away from her to hide his blush “I didn’t appreciate the way he was talking to you and it didn’t seem like you were either.”

Kiba
Kiba has made it pretty clear to everyone he has an interest in her
So it’s a bit of a surprise when he notices some random guy is openly flirting with her
But this doesn’t bother him too much, he just sees it as competition that he’s more than willing to take down
Kiba walks straight in between the two and shamelessly flirts with her
He just goes all out because if anyones going to be flirting with his crush it’s going to be him and he’ll make sure it’s the best damn flirting they’ve ever experienced.
Kiba is not going to stop talking to her until the guy steps in, and even then he won’t stop immediately
Once he’s satisfied with the shade of red her face has turned, he finally turns his attention to the guy
He flashes him a very toothy smile, but despite the fact that he’s smiling, there’s a clear warning there not to try anything with him
Kiba will take her hand in his without breaking eye contact with him
Before dragging her off, he calmly calls out “By the way you have some food stuck in your teeth”
Doesn’t even matter if he actually did have food in his teeth, Kiba just finds it funny to mess with people like that, especially in these types of situations

Shikamaru
He’s pretty bothered by it when he notices, but decides not to make a move
He’s just observing the situation to see how it plays out
But without realizing it, he’s putting himself in a bad mood by watching her get flirted with
5 minutes later and you have a very angry boy
The guy leans in 1 (one) inch closer and that is all the motivation he needs to step in
He absolutely does not want to make a scene, that would just be too much to handle, and he also doesn’t want to talk to that guy. It would be a waste of his breath
He’s trying to relax himself as he gets up but he’s just too eager to get her away from him to even try to slow himself down
He walks up right behind the guy with his ninja stealth™ and places a hand on his shoulder
The guy immediately freezes and stops talking, giving Shikamaru the perfect opportunity to innocently smile at her and speak
“I’m meeting Ino and Choji for barbeque, you should come along.”
She glances over and politely smiles a goodbye towards the guy. He still doesn’t say anything so she steps around him and begins walking with shikamaru
It’s not until the two of them are a safe distance away that Shikamaru finally releases the grip his shadow had on that poor man.
