One week

It had been an entire week since you’d seen Neji.

At first it didn’t concern you. You simply assumed he needed some space or had urgent clan matters to resolve

Even your friends reassured you with confidence. He would come back to you and have a simple explanation for his absence. Neji was known to be anything but deceitful- especially towards you

That’s why you weren’t sure you wanted to hear what he had to say anymore once he finally showed up at your door.

All you could do was silently stare at your boyfriends eyes, wordlessly pleading him to meet your gaze.

They were cold and bleary, such a contrast to the tender and focused look you were so used to seeing from him.

It was clear he was unwilling to look at you, so you stepped back into your house, leaving room for him to follow you inside.

You sat in the living room as he took off his shoes and coat, focusing on your breathing in an attempt to calm your nerves

But the second he entered the room and sat across from you, the weight in your stomach only intensified and your breathing becomes shallow.

Normally you would patiently wait and allow Neji to begin the conversation. You found he tends to open up more when he can start the conversation at his own pace.

But he had a week, and you’re not in the mood to wait.

“Neji,” your voice shakes out, “Say something to me. Anything. I need to know what you’re thinking.”

At the sound of your voice, he finally drags his face out from where it was wedged between his hands, leaving them on the side to rub his temples

“I can’t keep doing this, y/n. Not with you” He sighs out. His voice is sturdy, but his face barely holds up the same facade.

Neji wasn’t one for many words, so you learned how to understand his short phrases. So to you, he couldn’t have been more clear

Your eyes sting from the tears you’re refusing to shed, but those 8 words seemed to invade every part of your being until the lump in your throat was too painful to bear and a sharp sob escapes your wobbling lips.

‘not with you’

Those words danced around you until the tears in your eyes blurred your vision completely.

Neji watches his words break you down as he is unable to provide you comfort. His hand clamps down by his side as he refrains from instinctively reaching out to you. He feels cruel.

You finally collect yourself enough to force out a question through clenched teeth.

“If not me then who, Neji. Who?

You wipe tears from your eyes and meet his, your face feels hard as you prepare yourself to hear what he was going to say. To hear who he was going to be happy with as he left you alone with nothing.

He starts, “I don’t know if it’s a good ide-” “Say it dammit!” you interrupt

The idea of him with another woman had easily turned your grief into rage, and you were more than ready for this conversation to end.

He frowns, slightly taken aback by your sudden aggression, but keeps his eyes trained on you as he answers.

“Tenten”

You were sure in that moment your heart had physically shattered and that you were choking on its pieces.

“You said not to worry about her. You said she was a teammate and nothing else!” your voice was overflowing with emotion as you shouted at him

Neji, on the other hand maintained a low and calm voice, which only infuriates you to a whole new level.

“She was, but things developed and changed and I can’t be in a relationship with you when-” he paused to think “-when I have stronger feelings for someone else.”

That proved to be the last straw. You couldn’t handle to hear anything else

You were only able to whisper a “get out” to him, but the venom in your tone was clear, and he stood up and walked to the door alone and proceeded to leave

He turns one last time to look at you. His eyes were drooped and if you weren’t blinded by the hurt and rage, you would’ve been able to make out the tears forming and falling from his eyes as he whispered a final goodbye and left.

He’s very needy but he’s so sneaky about it so it’s hard to tell.

Kakashi loves having you all to himself, so a lot of your time spent together is indoors

Dating Kakashi means you had to have already been extremely close to him to have been able to break down his walls and become his s/o

Like- the transition between going from friends to lovers is so unclear

Neither of you could really pinpoint when the friendship turned into a romantic involvement because it all happened that slowly

So by the time you two were official, a lot of relationship milestones had already been passed

You already had the keys to each others houses, you two had a lot of each others clothes, and cuddling had been established a long time ago.

Kakashi is an indoor cuddler. He prefers to do all that lovey stuff in private

When you two are in public, he might hold your hand, but he usually just stands close to your side without actually initiating any contact

But in private this guy is such a good cuddler

He definitely used to be touch starved, but then he met you and decided cuddling was the best form of human intimacy to ever exist

When you two are together, he will initiate cuddling at any given opportunity

You’re both lounging on the couch? He’ll nudge you over in between his legs so your back is resting on his chest. That way he can read his books while wrapping his arms around you

He is an amazing cook. He’s usually too lazy to make big meals, but oh boy when he does, he goes all out. He knows your favorite foods and spices and will absolutely blow your mind with an amazing dish.

Kakuzu compared him to a puppy once and sent him on a rampage from the insult but he finally simmered down when you told him it was cute.

Puppy is now one of his pet names and it pisses Kakuzu off

Speaking of pet names, Hidan has SO MANY for you

Some of them he uses regularly, others just roll right off of his tongue and he just goes with it

“Hey bastard woman please come over here and help me find my necklace”

Most of them are pretty offensive but hey that’s Hidan and he’s using it lovingly so it’s fine to him

His mouth is his best weapon. And he loves to see just how worked up he can get you with his words

I mean- he has no shame so he will go through whatever means possible to get your face as red as it can possibly go

It’s his favorite way to pass time

He 100% tried to persuade you to become a follower of Jashin

Whether or not you agreed doesn’t change how much he loves you though

He just thinks it would be super romantic to do sacrifices together.

Hidan isn’t much of a cuddler, but he does like to maintain some form of physical contact with you when you’re together

So he’ll usually have his arm around your waist or shoulder, and sometimes will simply hold your hand

He definitely lets his hand slip down to your butt whenever and wherever

He also loves showing you off to his partners, victims, and pretty much anything with eyes and ears

Here it is! sorry it took so long. i’ve been writing scholarship essays so i was pretty burnt out to try and write any requests, but i should be posting a lot more this week! hope you like this :)

Neji

This prideful boy will never admit it but he is constantly keeping an eye on her

So he immediately notices how close this guy is, how suggesting his smirk is, and how he has her in uncomfortably close proximity.

He absolutely wants to step in, but that would make his feelings obvious and he doesn’t want that to happen yet

So he decides to stay close, but refrain from stepping in. He’s constantly reminding himself he’s not her boyfriend, and she can handle herself anyways.

But he genuinely cannot focus on anything at the moment. Not when this guy won’t stop eye fucking his crush just a few feet away from him.

His hands are clenched at his sides and his shoulders are stiff. He’s trying to relax because he doesn’t want to look as bothered as he feels but it’s a lost cause

Finally all this pent up frustration hits a breaking point and before he even realizes what he’s doing, he finds himself walking straight towards the two of you

The second he makes eye contact with her, she visibly relaxes and smiles at him, giving him all the permission he needed to drag her away from this situation.

He absolutely does not mind interrupting this guy to ask her how she’s doing. He’ll start an entire conversation with her without giving this man a single thought

Because to him, nothing else is worth his attention when he’s talking to her- especially not this rancid guy behind him

Obviously this guy is going to get irritated that Neji interrupted (what he thought) was a great moment, so he’s going to get Neji’s attention

But the next thing he realizes, he’s face to face with the hyuuga prodigy, and he’s pissed.

Neji’s not happy he has to actually speak to this guy, but he takes a moment to turn around with a menacing glare and say, “ah, please excuse me but I require her company right now so she’ll be leaving. Hope you don’t mind.”

But it was clear in his face and tone that Neji did not care how he felt in the slightest

He turns back around and nudges her arm and she begins walking away with him, slightly puzzled by the whole situation

“What was that all about?” she giggles

Neji turns his face away from her to hide his blush “I didn’t appreciate the way he was talking to you and it didn’t seem like you were either.”

Kiba

Kiba has made it pretty clear to everyone he has an interest in her

So it’s a bit of a surprise when he notices some random guy is openly flirting with her

But this doesn’t bother him too much, he just sees it as competition that he’s more than willing to take down

Kiba walks straight in between the two and shamelessly flirts with her

He just goes all out because if anyones going to be flirting with his crush it’s going to be him and he’ll make sure it’s the best damn flirting they’ve ever experienced.

Kiba is not going to stop talking to her until the guy steps in, and even then he won’t stop immediately

Once he’s satisfied with the shade of red her face has turned, he finally turns his attention to the guy

He flashes him a very toothy smile, but despite the fact that he’s smiling, there’s a clear warning there not to try anything with him

Kiba will take her hand in his without breaking eye contact with him

Before dragging her off, he calmly calls out “By the way you have some food stuck in your teeth”

Doesn’t even matter if he actually did have food in his teeth, Kiba just finds it funny to mess with people like that, especially in these types of situations

Shikamaru

He’s pretty bothered by it when he notices, but decides not to make a move

He’s just observing the situation to see how it plays out

But without realizing it, he’s putting himself in a bad mood by watching her get flirted with

5 minutes later and you have a very angry boy

The guy leans in 1 (one) inch closer and that is all the motivation he needs to step in

He absolutely does not want to make a scene, that would just be too much to handle, and he also doesn’t want to talk to that guy. It would be a waste of his breath

He’s trying to relax himself as he gets up but he’s just too eager to get her away from him to even try to slow himself down

He walks up right behind the guy with his ninja stealth™ and places a hand on his shoulder

The guy immediately freezes and stops talking, giving Shikamaru the perfect opportunity to innocently smile at her and speak

“I’m meeting Ino and Choji for barbeque, you should come along.”

She glances over and politely smiles a goodbye towards the guy. He still doesn’t say anything so she steps around him and begins walking with shikamaru

It’s not until the two of them are a safe distance away that Shikamaru finally releases the grip his shadow had on that poor man.

I’ve never written NSFW before so I kept it really light because it would’ve been rly uncomfortable if i tried to go all out because in all honesty i just don’t know how to write it yet. (it’s just how he teases) so it’s not even considered nsfw. But I appreciate how you asked! made me feel much more comfortable. Iruka is such a sweetheart. He does a lot of cheesy romantic things, but he doesn’t think they’re cheesy because to him he’s just expressing his love.

He’ll always bring you small things he picked up throughout the day that “made me think of you”

It’s so easy to make him blush or get flustered. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been dating two months or two years, this guy gets embarrassed so easily

Iruka is pretty lax on pda, so he enjoys holding hands while the two of you walk around, or just having his arm around you while you two are out.

He’s also just kind of touchy. If he’s walking past you he’ll be sure to lightly drag his hand across your back, or if he’s looking over your shoulder, he’s going to place his hands on you to ‘stabilize’ himself.

Most of the time they’re normal, innocent gestures, but if he’s feeling especially bold, he’ll use those seemingly small gestures to tease you throughout the day.

His hands will linger around just long enough to catch your attention, or he’ll apply extra pressure on you when he happens to be touching you, but he’ll keep up the innocent facade, leaving you to deal with the teasing all day

Because Iruka usually gets pretty flustered with teasing, he tends to keep his own pretty light and secretive- in the privacy of your own home. Other than that, he’s not much for teasing in public where other people might see.

He’s a pleaser. This man will treat you RIGHT

Everything about him is so soft and sweet. A relationship with Iruka is a comfortable one.

Once he tried to set up his house super romantic and make you dinner. He set up candles and nice music, even dusted his bed with rose petals

Yes you read that right. Rose petals. This man is the embodiment of cheesy romance

But he burned the fish he was cooking and made an absolute mess of everything. His plans were going pretty well before that too.

You got to his house and walked in on him desperately trying to cut off the burnt sections on the meat, while the soup on the stove overheated and boiled over the pot onto the floor.

When he saw you he just seemed to get even more hopeless as he tried to explain what he had been trying to do. He’s a good cook, but he just overdid everything and it was too much to handle.

When he gets overwhelmed like that he just babbles for a solid minute before reigning himself in and calming down. It’s best to just watch him rather than interfere. Mostly because he looks super cute when he’s doing it so why not admire him

Iruka -being a ninja and a teacher- has seen and dealt with many difficult things, so although he can act a bit nervous sometimes, he actually has a really strong and mature mind.

Choosing to support Naruto as a child and not judge him is a great representation of how he handles serious situations.

If you had any issues or difficulties concerning yourself or things happening around you, Iruka is a great person to confide in. He gives really good advice, and just naturally has a very comforting spirit

Overall he’s a very soft boy and will treat you so good

Ok so I was going to do little blurbs of ideas like I usually do, but I was having trouble with it because the way i was writing it was just too general so I just came up with a short story. I added some bullet points at the top but I hope the story satisfies the ask as well :)

He’s patient with his s/o. He knows pestering won’t work, and that healing is a long process. He’s in no rush

I think Gaara would be the most understanding of their PTSD and depression because of his past trauma

Since Gaara also deals with similar difficulties, I think he and his s/o would be very supportive of each other

So if one of them is going through a rough spot, the other is more than willing, and capable to help the other back on their feet

Gaara quietly steps into his home, locking the door behind him and stepping out of his shoes. He just finished another day of work, and the warm embrace of home, and the knowledge of who waits for him, almost completely washed away the stress he had built up throughout the day. But upon a quick inspection, he becomes aware that the house hadn’t been used today. The bowl he left on the counter this morning in his rush to get to his office on time was still sorting out, and the darkness that seemed to envelope the house from none of the lights being turned on, all pointed to the fact that his s/o probably hadn’t left their room. He was surprised to find the lights in his room on. It was late and he had assumed his s/o had gone to sleep already. He opens the door and slowly stepped into the room, finding them resting comfortably in bed reading a book, which he recognized to be one he had gifted to them earlier in their relationship. Feeling his presence in the room, they look up at him, and despite their soft smile, he can clearly see signs of restlessness and anxiety on their face. They set down their book and get out of bed to greet him. He meets them halfway, silently studying their face before grabbing their arm and pulling them into a firm embrace. His arms wrap around their back, gently rubbing up and down as he enjoys the feeling of their steady breathing against his chest.

He was the first to speak. “Have you had anything to eat today?” He spoke casually and smoothly. He made a point to never sound accusing when he checked on their health. He remembers the agitation he felt that came along with people pestering him about his state of health back when he was a genin. They just sighed into his chest before pulling away from the warmth his body provided. They refused to meet his gaze as they spoke. “I ate some bread around lunch time, but I’ve been in here most of the day.” Gaara offers to make a small meal and they accept

They ate together in silence. Gaara wasn’t feeling too conversational, and he knew not to prod too much, trusting that they will confide in him soon enough. They finally looked up from their plate. Gaara finished his bite before looking up as well, meeting their gaze and giving his full attention. “I had a lot of flashbacks today” they started, “Couldn’t find the strength to get out of bed either. It’s been pretty bad this past month, but today was the worst so far.” They look back down at their plate, defeated with themselves. Gaara only gave himself a small moment to hurt for them. He knew that by confiding in him like this, they were asking for his support. He briefly remembers his days before becoming Kazekage, and how they had helped him overcome his emotional trauma. They both supported each other endlessly for the past few years, but he knew today they needed a little more support than usual. He wished he could’ve stayed home to help them. But he was here now, and he was going to provide as much support as he could. He finds their hand resting limply on the table, so he reaches over and grabs it, affectionately rubbing his thumb alongside the ridges of their knuckles. This proved to grab their attention, and they looked up to meet Gaara’s eyes once more. They were sincere and resolute, the intensity of his stare sent a rush of warmth coursing through their connected hands and into the rest of their body, pooling in their chest. “I’m here with you” his voice was raw with emotion. “For everything. And I wish I was here more, but I’m always going to do everything I can to help you when I’m here, ok?” He needed them to understand that he is going to be a predominant source of support to them for as long as they need it. “Your PTSD usually gets worse around this time of year, so just take it easy ok? We’ll take some small steps back to your normal routine” They smiled up at him, more reasurred than before. “I’ll be there to help you get back on your feet.” he adds, before getting up from the table to clear the dishes.

Gaara finishes showering and makes his way towards the bed, and comfortably slips under the warm covers next to his s/o. When he finally settles in, he slightly lifts his arm, giving them access to snugly fit themselves into his side, tucking their face into his chest. I have a small gathering to attend in a few days” Gaara mutters out to them “Would you be comfortable with joining me?” He waited a few moments before receiving a muffled “I’m not sure” through the fabric of his shirt. He smiled and thought for a while before adding, “You could wear that new red dress you got recently. I know you’ve wanted to wear it out, right?” He waits, until finally, “Hn. That’s true. I will go.” They both fully relaxed into each other and Gaara listened to their breaths slow down as sleep takes over them. He prided himself in that small victory. He knew they just needed small bits of motivation to continue on with their healing process. He remembers how much they impacted his mental growth through their support. He wonders if they know just how much they truly helped him, before his breaths even out as well, and he falls asleep against the warmth of his s/o.

Sasuke and his sister are very competitive. Growing up, they constantly had to fight over shared attention, so it just matured into a competitive habit.

They’re constantly training. They’re always eager to try what they learned at school, and since they both respectively have the same skill level, you can bet that training is a regular activity for them.

Sasuke was the first one to unlock his sharingan

One day as they were training with shuriken in the forest, Sasuke accidentally seriously injured her, causing her to pass out. In his utter panic to drag her back home, he unlocks his sharingan.

She was extremely jealous of him for the time being. He was getting everyone’s attention and it was harder to train with him. But it wasn’t long before she got her sharingan as well, and they were back on equal grounds.

Deep down, Sasuke was hoping they would be placed on the same team together. He’s naturally very protective of her, and if she was on the same team as him, he would always be able to keep an eye out for her. Especially on dangerous missions.

He is entirely confident in her ability to protect herself. He witnesses her strength firsthand almost everyday, but there’s just that instinctual need to watch over her and make sure she’s okay.

All of their training together makes them a deadly pair. God help any enemies that stumble across the two Uchiha heirs that work flawlessly together in combat

Sometimes Sasuke brings her to Team 7 training so they can do some 2v2. Team Uchiha always wins.

While Sasuke is withdrawn, she’s more friendly and outgoing. But she still has that menacing Uchiha look™ that tells you not to mess with her.

And although their personalities are nearly opposites, they compliment each other very well. She knows how to ease Sasuke out of his bubble, and he’s mastered calming her down when she gets out of hand.

They’ve been side by side their entire lives, so they know how to read each other very well. Neither of them have to change anything about themselves when their around each other to be able to understand each other

Ex: Sasuke understands what she’s feeling despite her sarcastic comments or guarded looks, and she knows how to read Sasuke’s small but important giveaways to his thoughts such as the slight furrow of his eyebrows, or a quick break of eye contact.

Being able to understand each other so easily is something that brings them close together

But don’t think they aren't your typical bickering siblings as well. Sure, they love and respect each other, but if it comes down to who gets to take the first shower, or who can use the new set of shuriken during training, it’s a fight to the death.

Sasuke was born first, so he’ll call her imouto when he wants to get on her nerves

It works every single time

They are both very well known as the Uchiha twins. Their clan name, skills, and good grades in the academy don’t go unnoticed by their peers. And her fan club is just as considerable as Sasukes

They’re such a good duo and work as each others emotional support. Canon Sasuke definitely needed a twin

No problem anon! I feel like being missing nin in the akatsuki really complicates things for these boys having any romantic interest but it’s such a cute idea so I had fun figuring out what they would do

Kisame has always been an outsider, even in his own village

So he’s always felt lonely, and never considered the possibility of a relationship

Not until this girl, eyes wide with hope and determination, confesses her feelings for him

Now his eyes are widened as well and his face is slowly warming to a shade of pink

This girl just left a 6 foot 200 pound shark man utterly speechless because he could not have prepared himself for such an event

If he returns the feelings, one of his first emotions would be to worry

Kisame is a very strong companion, but he also has orders to prioritize, and he would worry what kind of dangerous position that puts her in. She would be extremely easy to be used to manipulate him, and he doesn’t want to put either of them in that position

Despite all this, he truly yearns for that intimate relationship that she’s offering him

He’ll acknowledge her confession, and try to play off how deeply it affected him with a witty comment or a smirk, but he gives in to his long repressed urge to just let someone accept him

He’s not sure how to voice his emotions just yet, so instead he asks her if she wants to grab some dinner, and relishes in the small, understanding smile he sees on her face

Causes such a commotion that he causes her face to turn an even deeper shade of red than it was before

He finally looks back over to her and registers the confused and hurt expression on her face

He gets worried and goes “Shit you look awful what’s wrong?”

Cue Kakuzu rolling his eyes for the 100th time that day

Then it clicks that he hasn’t even acknowledged her confession yet, and she’s entirely serious about it

He stops shouting at everyone and gives her his full attention

He’s still so fucking cocky about it, even though he’s taking it seriously

He just can’t hide how much this boosted his ego

But then he explains to her that no one is more important to him than Lord Jashin, and no matter what, he’ll always have to put him first

It’s harsh, but he doesn’t want to leave room for uncertainty when it comes to Lord Jashin

If she’s understanding about it, he’ll be ecstatic

“Ugh shit your’re fucking perfect”

Kakuzu

Because of his past, Kakuzu is a very untrusting person so his first instinct is to not let anyone come even close to breaking down his walls, and a confession is the first step.

He’s a businessman, so he likes to get straight to the point.

If she’s stuttering or is having trouble confessing, he won’t hesitate to get her to spit it out. He’ll probably say “What is it? Come on I don’t have time for this nonsense.”

But the second she makes the confession, his brain goes into a gridlock

Again, he has big time trust issues, but by confessing to him, you’re putting all your trust into him with a risk of it being broken, and deep down, that gesture really touches him

He’s blunt, so he’ll explain to her that he doesn’t have time for a girlfriend, but he’s pleased she was confident enough to tell him.

As he walks off, he can’t shake off a feeling of satisfaction inside him from the events, even though he basically just rejected her

He won’t allow himself to admit it, but he’s feeling a rush of nerves at the idea she harbors such emotions for him

Not much changes right after the confession, but soon enough she notices Kakuzu is around her more often than usual, and indulges her presence more than he used to

Kakuzu only spends his money on necessities. He prefers to gain money than spend it. So it’s a big deal when she finds a beautiful necklace lying on her bed

He pined over her reaction, but only left “I was on a mission and it reminded me of you” as an explanation for his sudden generosity

Here it is! I’ve never written Pain before so I did a little character research on him. I’m not 100% sure if I hit the mark with him but either way I hope you enjoy :)

Pain

Always pushing them to study harder. Wants them to succeed in their goal so he’s just trying to give them more initiative to keep learning

He also helps them study their vocab whenever he can, but definitely comes off as a bit harsh

“Ok no just take a break and then come back. your pronunciation is all wrong.”

Although he’s super blunt, he’s really just trying to help them learn the fastest in his own intense way. He really does think it’s for the best

And soon enough, they find themselves learning a lot more efficiently when Pain is helping out with the studying

So now they use every opportunity they can to get him to help them study

If his methods get a little intense, a small gesture that he needs to go easy, and he’ll immediately be less harsh. He’s still blunt, but definitely a lot softer with his tone.

He genuinely has no intention of hurting their feelings. Again, he’s just an intense guy

But he takes note of how eager they are to learn, and admires how far they’ve come

God forbid anyone make fun of them for not speaking it very well, Pain is protective and will not tolerate anyone making his s/o feel bad about their hard work, especially when he’s been helping them out so much

When they get something down, and get all excited, he acts like he doesn’t think he’s witnessing the most adorable display in front of him, and tells them to focus (only after he’s gotten rid of the smile threatening to break out on his face)

Shikamaru

“Why even go through the trouble”

I feel like Shikamaru knows five different languages because he’s had to translate so many documents and he’s just a really smart boy

And Chinese happens to be one of those languages

But oh it’s too much of a bother to tell them that so he’ll just keep it to himself for now

He secretly really admires their efforts and willpower to learn this new language because he knows it’s not easy and he knows it takes a lot of determination

The only time he really whines about it is if they’ve been paying more attention to studying the language than him

He kind of just sulks around them until he gets the attention he wants

If sulking fails, then he just sighs in defeat and trudges over to see what they’re working on so he can help out

He helps them study and one day he’s helping them pronounce a word they’ve been struggling with and they just stop and are like “wait how do you know so much about Chinese?” and he’s like “oh you didn’t know? I speak it pretty fluently.”

Game changer. They’re pretty pissed off he didn’t tell them, but then they realize how helpful this will be for them, and take every opportunity after that to speak to him in Chinese

He thinks it's such a drag at first, but he can’t help but feel prideful as he watches them get better and better at speaking Chinese

When he feels like praising them, he tries to play it off like it’s no biggie, so he’ll say something like “That was perfect. But it’s whatever I already knew you could do it” with that lovely little smirk of his

Kakashi

Oh he just thinks it’s the cutest thing

He’s entirely confident in their abilities to learn chinese, but he just loves to tease them about it while they’re still in the learning stage

When they get flustered over a particularly difficult word or phrase, he knows exactly how to distract them to ease their nerves

He’ll put down his book and walk up behind them, slowly working his hands across their shoulders and up and down their back, until they look up from their work and give him their full attention

Once he has their attention he settles his face just above their ear and whispers “hmm now what kind of problem do we have here?”

Lowkey seductive but just enough to get them a little flustered so they’re not too invested in the obstacle they’re dealing with

But once their attention goes back to what they’re working on, he’ll do what he can to help them figure out whatever they’re stuck on

Once they finally get it, he’ll just pick his book back up and pretend he’s reading while he watches them get so excited for finally figuring out the phrase they were stuck on

But don’t mistake his casual stance for disinterest. Kakashi is also doing his own little victory dance on the inside for being able to help them out

He loves listening to them verbally practice Chinese. The sound of their voice is really soothing to him, and he enjoys being able to hear them speak.

Once they start to get the language down, it kind of encourages him to learn a bit as well, especially since he’s picked up some words from being around them all the time

But of course sharingan boy cheats and uses his sharingan to help him learn. But it’s fine with them because now they can speak some basic Chinese to each other when they don’t want to be overheard

If they’ve both had enough socializing for one day they can just go to each other and say whatever they want in Chinese

*In Chinese* “Kakashi can we please go home now this dinner got very boring very fast” “Yea of course as long as you make up the excuse this time”

Now it’s their thing to speak Chinese to each other

Gaara is such a sweetheart (as we all know) and he’s still a shy kid at heart, so to him, small meaningful gestures mean the world. Nothing too outrageous, just little reminders that he loves you or vice versa.

So if he comes home after a late day of work and he finds that you’re asleep, and there’s some food and a cute note on the table for him, I’m 100% sure he would melt right where he stood.

And he absolutely loves giving these gestures back. You had a rough day and you don’t want to talk about it? No problem, he’ll just massage your shoulders and back until you fall asleep. And if he has to leave early the next morning he’ll leave you a note wishing you a good day (and that he would much rather be in bed with you)

Gaara is really good at reading people, and being his girlfriend just means he’s 100x more attentive to your emotions.

So by the first month of your relationship, he pretty much knows what makes you happy or upset.

He knows being the kazekage makes things a little difficult since he’s so busy all the time, but you know that he isn’t trying to stay away from you, and he’s always making sure you’re confident in the relationship just as much as he is.

And you two quickly worked out ways to see each other as often as possible without interrupting his work.

For example, you know his schedule, and like to come in around lunchtime during his break to eat with him, before you go shopping in the market for dinner.

And he never gets tired of seeing you walk through his office door with a bag of lunch in your hands. It makes his heart flutter the same way it did when he first had feelings for you

This has a lot to do with the fact that he had such a lonely past. He grew up thinking no one was worth loving, especially not himself. So to think that someone he loves- who loves him back- takes the time everyday to come visit him during work just to eat and talk with him almost blows his mind. He gets used to the idea of it after a while, but the gratitude and love he feels when he sees you never changes.

Overall, the relationship is so sweet and pure. You two are so natural with each other, and all the cute gestures between one another never fails to bring a smile to your faces.

You and Naruto had become good friends recently. It started out as an innocent friendship after you two had gone on a mission together and had gotten along really well.

He was totally oblivious that you had started to develop feelings for him in the time you two spent together, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t starting to feel anything for you either

Naruto is so dumb with his emotions. Sometimes he can’t really distinguish between his feelings so when he meets up with you at lunch one day and he suddenly feels nervous and his hands get clammy when you smile at him, he’s just like “wow I’m so happy to be with y/n today that my stomach is hurting me! :D” and it’s like no, Naruto, your body is trying to tell you that you like them

So it finally hits him that what he’s feeling for you is beyond a friendship when he sees you at the market shopping with a friend.

He’s on his way to Ichiraku with Sakura and Ino, and they’re both bickering about some medical ninjutsu technique so he immediately loses interest and starts scanning the markets while they walk

As he’s glancing around he recognizes you at a stall, casually looking over fresh vegetables laid out in carts

He’s about to run over and say hi to you before Ino and Sakura start picking on him again, when he notices you’re with a friend

He suddenly decides not to greet you, and gives in to a sudden interest to just observe you as you shopped

You look so relaxed and happy as you stroll around the market without any rush or concern

He feels his stomach tighten as he watches you laugh at something your friend says to you. Your entire face lights up and breaks into a big smile; he can almost hear your laugh. He also can’t help the small smile that begins to grow on his face, just from watching you

And as he’s watching you he finds himself wishing that it was him with you, and that he was the one making you laugh. The emotions that began to envelope his mind were so sudden and strong that he had almost come to a full stop without realizing it.

Ino and Sakura realize that Naruto isn’t next to them and turn around to see the poor boy staring straight at you with a lost look on his face

His eyebrows are slightly drawn and his lips are pursed, but there’s a small twinkle in his eyes that just barely shows the intensity of the emotions he’s feeling

The girls follow his line of sight straight to you. They immediately figure out why he looks like that and smirk at each other, already knowing what to do

They call out to you, immediately gathering your and Naruto’s attention. You say goodbye to your friend and walk up to the girls. You notice Naruto and send him a sweet hello and a smile but he’s still too confused and shocked that Ino and Sakura called you over to even register your greeting.

They invite you to join them for lunch and you accept, which pretty much jumpstarts Naruto’s excitement button and he snaps out of his daze, immediately jumping right up to you and leading the way to ramen in a hurried pace.

He’s just so happy that you’re coming and that he gets to eat ramen with you that he easily pushes aside his new wave of emotions

The lunch goes smoothly, even though Naruto kept catching himself staring at you a little longer than usual, or blushing at your smiles and light teasing

It didn’t help that Sakura and Ino were giggling the whole time

Naruto walks you home, and being able to talk to you one on one has him feeling these emotions all over again and he just knows he’s got it bad because he can barely hold himself together as you two casually stroll back to your house

I think Naruto wouldn’t drag out the friendship too long after that. Even if he wanted to, he isn’t very good at keeping things to himself, especially not his emotions. So he would do a bunch of cheesy things for you and probably hang out with you a lot more than usual, until one night you’re talking to him and he just blurts out that he likes you

Now you’re just both staring at each other, blushes are creeping up both of your faces and neither of you knows what to do

But you collect your thoughts and laugh at his bluntness, causing him to blush even more. He starts to say something, probably to try to cover up what he just said, but you put a reassuring hand over his and tell him that you feel the same way. The smile he breaks out is all too contagious and you can’t help but smile back. You finish up your evening and he would walk you home

When he says goodbye, he’ll softly peck your cheek and then hurry off before the moment is ruined.
