How do Nekroz Ritual monster connect to monsters like Catastors and Trishula? I am curious.

Around the third arc of Duel Terminal, the world was being brought to it's knees thanks to the possession powers of the Shaddolls. Allies and enemies of the past were controlled by the shadows, fighting against the tribes of this era. Among these tribes were the Nekroz, descendants of the Gishki (who were descendants of the Ice Barriers). In order to fight against this new threat, the Nekroz used their Ritual powers that they were given from the Gishki. The Nekroz used the Gishki Aquamirror (now the Nekroz Mirror) to borrow the powers of powerful beings of the past: Clausolas, Unicore, Valkyrus, Brionac, Gungnir, Trishula, Sophia, Areadbhair, Catastor and Decisive Armor.

TLDR: Nekroz used the powers of past archetypes that were involved in previous arcs of Duel Terminal, and that's why they reference many archetypes.
