A present for his lovely sister! Yua plays a present in her lap. Inside the box is a copy of Great Detective Pikachu! Yua knew it was never released outside of Japan and he kind of hoped that she didn't already have a copy. He'd included a receipt in the box just in case...
“Yooo...” {/How nice of Yua! No, Nicole didn’t have a copy of Detective Pikachu. And while there was very much an English version, and an adaptation of a film on the way...playing this game would be a great way for her to familiarize herself with everything that would be going on. And since it’s in Japanese, it would be a great way to secretly practice her reading and comprehension skills. Without looking like a fool in front of her siblings and guardian figures, of course.
All in all, this was a very thoughtful purchase. And if anything, all the receipt did was serve a purpose of her to know how much it cost, and how much Yua was going to get back in a gift card. After all, he didn’t necessarily work like she did. He was more on an allowance than anything else, which meant that his money was a little more limited than hers. He shouldn’t be spending it on games like that. As nice as it was, games were an incredibly expensive addiction that need not be fed so often.
With the game in her hands, she stands and kisses Yua on the forehead. He deserved affection for not only paying attention to her hobby, paying attention to the particulars of her hobby enough to know what she liked and what she would take interest in! For someone who used to be absolutely afraid of her, he was doing a wonderful job in knowing her for small things like this!}
