Alright! This is pretty easy! The Thirteenth Doctor would be perfect as a lab partner. She clearly loves science, especially practical, hands-on science, so she’d clearly get us some awesome grades. Leslie Knope might be a good employee trainer. She’s good at guiding people and at being in charge of people and I think she’d do a good job. Kara Danvers would be fun to be stuck in an elevator with for ten hours. She seems like she’d be a good conversationalist and she’d make the time pass by quickly.

That was how I felt the last time I watched S2 as well

Yeah. It’s really interesting to see how the show shifted away from characters like that after the leadership change in S3. All of the major interpersonal relationships created in S2 are terrible, and they’re set up with bad power dynamics. It’s kinda like how Cat Grant hasn’t held up well in the post-Me Too world.

I'm really confused by the Kara's open floor plan thing. What's the reasoning for it?

It took me literal hours after reading the post for it to register, but Kara’s claustrophobia. She would want an open floor plan—an open living space— because she has a history of claustrophobia.

Someone else I follow said the she enjoyed TLJ a lot more the second time she saw it than the first time. That being said, she got to see it a second time because someone bought her tickets. I don't even know if I'll have the time to see it a second time in theatre between work and other movies I want to see. My brother will be buying the tickets if we go again though.

Did you enjoy it when you first watched it? On reflection, it wasn’t that I disliked the film; like I said with the other post - i think it was because i went in wanting so much to be blown away by it that the tremendous expectations ultimately left me feeling flat...and disappointed. 

I will probably buy it when it comes out on DVD/on iTunes for those bits I want to rewatch, but I don’t think I’d be able to sit through an entire screening again.

I had never thought about Edelweiss as a Kara song and now everything sad and I’m crying. I may never be able to watch The Sound of Music without thinking this now.

I saw a video on Twitter of someone in a T-Rex outfit backflipping onto an inflatable boat thing and applauding themselves after they did it and it made me think of Kara and it made it so much funnier that way. I just wanted to thank you for that because it never would have happened if you hadn't mentioned Kara in the T-Rex outfit before.

Yeah! I still wonder why she has a (one-sided) feud with Jasmine, haha. (It’s also kinda funny to imagine Anna having a weird one-sided feud with Jasmine.) What did Jasmine do to warrant Eleanor not just disliking her, but considering her an enemy? What’s the story behind that?

And yeah, just the concept of Eleanor as a Disney princess is freaking hilarious. I dunno what she’d hate more, the talking to animals, the gowns, the singing your feelings? She’d probably really hate the singing her feelings bit, actually. I’m imagining a musical number with Princess Eleanor going something like Heather Davis’s song “The Moment is Me” from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend where she’s just groaning about having to sing throughout the whole song.
