I think I’d seen the beginning of the very first episode back in middle school while I was browsing animeseason or some site like that, but it was a bit too slow paced and trippy for me at the time to just sit down and watch it, I guess? Idk but I didn’t even finish the first episode. Then a year later or so, my older sister was telling me about it and she was super hyped and she showed me some of the art. I was like, ‘oh I saw that it was super weird and boring’ because I was a little shit, but my sister insisted so I went and tried it again. AND OF COURSE IT WAS SUPER AWESOME.
Then my sister bought the dvd set and all that to show my dad and so yup. It’s mostly thanks to my sister.
Honestly though I feel like I enjoy most now than ever before. Like my obsession level now compared to back then is probably like. 3x more.
