Didn’t really have any big inspiration today, so I just decided to regress a little bit to my cyberloops style. Only made a handful of loops, and shifted back and forth between two instruments for each one. Then I went back and ad libbed a solo line to run over it all. Not bad for an hour or so of uninspired work.
My laptop is really starting to show its age. I was having trouble listening to playback of all the instrument parts at once while I was recording the solo line. Unfortunately, I don’t have the money to replace the laptop or to start switching to actual synth equipment either. So I’ll keep muddling along for now.
Who knows, maybe if I can get equipment that can keep up with the workload, I can start actually doing these screenside jam sessions live instead of just playing around for an hour or two and then uploading something.
“ So meet me in the dark Kiss me in the shadows of every spark I know we shouldn't start But baby I'm a slave to rhythm A slave to the rhythm of your heart ”
New Profile Picture. If we didn’t know I had an obsession with neon and blacklight before, now we do.
Homeward - Analog vs. Digital
The combination of both the analog style and the cybergrunge style.
Out of most of the Neon Streets tracks I’ve done so far, I think this one was the most improved by mashing together the two styles.
