Hoo boy- DO I??

1. Izzie and Logan regularly scheme to get these dense morons (/aff) to recognize and admit their damn feelings already. They have asked Zoey to join but she only does so occasionally does so because she’s also exhausted of watching them (Mateo and Cooper) do this.

2. Cooper will do anything but acknowledge that he’s not straight. Mateo’s caught onto the fact Cooper’s probably about as straight as a bendy straw, but he’s waiting for Coop to come to that one on his own since the guy is so obviously not ready to admit it to himself. (Mateo has not yet put together who Cooper’s obvious gay panic is aimed at) (hint: it starts with a “Ma” and ends with a “teo”)

3. Cooper had a brief crush on Logan that was largely a projection of his repressed feelings for Mateo.

4. Their hands accidentally touched once and they both almost overheated blushing. Izzie and Logan are actively trying to make it happen again.

5. It’s a given but both can and have listened to each other ramble about their special interests for hours.

6. Birthdays and holidays haven’t been forgotten even once by either of them. Mateo usually gives Cooper art of some kind, tending to be of cars or racers he likes. Cooper is surprisingly good at finding vintage comics or old animation cels for Mateo (when he has the time to shop, that is).
