Her gem is a trapiche emerald. It is. It looks like one. The color is too neon to be nephrite. It has stripes and a ring in the middle, not spots.

She even looks and acts like emerald. The white fuzz, piloting a ship, spikey teeth... etc...

But nope, she’s nepherite... jade....

I know people are saying “called it! you guys are idiots!” but no. It doesn’t matter. They made a poor, illogical choice. Just like amethyst + garnet = sugilite, an unrelated gem. Just like lapis + jasper = malachite, again, an unrelated gem.

Do they not have access to wikipedia? Or google? Or did they just change her to a nephrite because they figured that’s what most fans thought she was?

I know it’s a stupid thing to be be mad about, but.... it’s stupid. It’s like lightsabers having crossguards. It was a poor decision and nephrite will always be Trapiche Emerald in my head.

The next episode they’re gonna un-corrupt the ice monster and be like “Oh look, it’s an era 1 ruby, obviously! Can’t you tell? She’s blue, has ice powers, spikes, her gem is hexagonal, yep! Definitely a ruby!”

Slytherin: Minako. Chibiusa. Zoisite.

Ravenclaw: Michiru and Haruka. Ami. Kunzite.

Setsuna and Hotaru are hat-stalls: i can see them as gryffindors, hufflepuffs or ravenclaws. I think they’d pick ravenclaw to be with Michi and Ruka.

BONUS: Stardust’s Luna: also a hatstall. she choses ravenclaw to be with Michiru and Haruka but could of been a gryffindor or slytherin.

Tmw out of all the gems Bismuth has to mention it had to be Nephrite. :p My gemsona. I picked that gem to basically ensure that my gem WOULDN’T show up on the show. Oops. I mean I’m not *complaining* just that now EVERYONE’s gunna make nephrite-sonas :/
