Neptune vs. Venus Beauty

These observations can apply to Neptune/Venus 1st house, aspecting the Ascendant, Pisces/Taurus/Libra Ascendants, or Neptune/Venus dominants.

This is my own observation, so take it with a grain of salt.

🪞 Neptune beauty is when you zoom out of a picture, and you only see the best features that stand out. Bad features are hidden and blurred. Angles are extremely important. Everything is positioned purposely to create a specific impression or feeling, but you wouldn't know it's on purpose. Photography is ruled by Neptune. Neptune 1st house/dominants would intuitively get what I mean. You only see what Neptunians want you to see but never know it's all intentional.

🪞 Venus beauty is when you zoom in a picture, and every single detail is still perfect. Their pores are so tight that you can't even notice. Their skin is super smooth. Every feature is elegant, no matter what angles. Venus beauty with Taurus influence is more genuine, realistic, and detailed. Their natural face is pretty that they don't need much makeup.

🪞 Neptune 1st house/dominants may have certain features that are extremely beautiful and unrealistic in sizes, shapes, colors (very big round eyes, violet eye colors, big pupils, plum lips, etc.). People mostly focus on those out-of-this-world features that they ignore or forget their other imperfect features that are covered up very well.

🪞 Venus 1st house/dominants may have all pretty and feminine features and almost no imperfections, but their features are more common and average in sizes, shapes, colors, etc. Each feature doesn't stand out separately, but together, they harmonize perfectly.

🪞 Neptunians may have a short or rounder face shape. They may have big round eyes, which gives off their innocence. Their pupils are huge as if they're wearing lenses. Their midface (the gap between their eyes and lips) is small, which makes them look like an anime/manga character. Their cheeks may be a bit fuller, which give them a baby effect.

🪞 Venusians may have an oval or longer face shape. Their midface may be medium-sized. Their ratio is perfect, not too big or too small but balanced. Their features are thinner and more delicate (thin eyebrows, small cheekbones, delicate lips' lines), which gives off their femininity.

🪞 Neptunians change their appearance with different makeup styles, clothes, hairs, surgeries, etc. They fit the glamorous styles. They experience all kinds of styles that transform them into their ideal dream self.

🪞 Venusians, with Taurus influence, look the best with light and minimal makeup that showcases their natural beauty.

🪞 Neptunians give off an image of a baby/child. Venusians give off an image of a maiden.

🪞 Neptune's features may be a bit more chubby than Venus's, which are more delicate.

🪞 Neptunians embody innocent and glamorous beauty, while Venusians showcase their sweet and down-to-earth beauty.

Neptune in Astrology

I wanted to make a post about Neptune because this is my favorite planet to talk about in Astrology and the reason for this is there’s a lot that can be said about this one planet. It has so many different sides/layers to it, which makes sense given what the planet is all about and I just find it so fascinating, so here’s what I have to say about Neptune!

1. Neptune can be deceptive in a way that both benefits and harms those affected.

For example, people with a Venus-Neptune aspect in their chart (or even Venus in Pisces) can easily overlook red flags in their significant other. It’s like these people do not see the red flags as red flags, but rather something about their partner that can be worked on with the native acting as a therapist in their relationship and this is the delusional side of Neptune. These people tend to have a savior complex, however, it is important that they pay attention and take things at face value in their relationships.

On the other hand, I’ve noticed that people with strong Neptune energy in their chart, like Neptune in the first/harmonious aspects to the ascendant and even Pisces placements and stelliums have the ability to get away with certain things that others would be ridiculed for. This is because Neptune can give someone a more “innocent” aura/look, and honestly it’s kinda like in an infantilizing way. These people with strong Neptune can really get away with a lot from what I’ve seen and people will just brush it off like, “Oh they don’t know any better” or “Oh I’m sure they didn’t mean it. They’re such a sweetheart.” And, usually, these natives are very aware of what they are doing and can even be doing shady things behind the scenes. They could even orchestrate situations and leave without facing any consequences because of this.

2. While Neptune distorts your image in the public eye, it also affects how you view yourself.

For instance, Neptune in the tenth house in someone’s chart really gives “Old Hollywood” to me. I think people with this placement have a certain glamour to them that just draws people in and makes people want to “figure you out” because, like most of the Old Hollywood celebrities, behind all the glitz and glam there’s always a scandal or rumors surrounding these people. With this placement, people can speculate about what you do in private because these natives can be a bit more private about their personal affairs, that it comes off as “secretive” to everyone else who feels entitled to know your business.

But strong Neptune can also create some internal conflict within the native, like it could bring a weaker sense of self, so to speak. These are the people that you will see kinda shape shift from time to time, depending on who’s around and what they are dealing with emotionally. Neptune in the first house/aspecting the ascendant is a good example of this, where the native always looks like a different person every time you see them.

3. People will underestimate those with prominent Neptune/Pisces energy.

People may not always understand what you’re trying to say. It’s like having Mercury in Pisces so people may not always “get” you and you could have this experience where you say something and people look at you like you’re stupid, but someone else says the same thing and suddenly everyone seems to get it. It’s like you speak a foreign language to most people, but it could also be that people try to downplay you like you never know what you’re talking about. They could really underestimate your intelligence with this placement.

4. Neptune energy attracts copycats.

This is an interesting concept to me because not only can Neptune bring a loss of identity to oneself, it can also do this for those around you. People will change their whole aesthetic in an attempt to emulate your persona. You could see a shift in your circle, like maybe your close friends, family members, or even coworkers begin to dress like you and copy your mannerisms. A better example of this can be seen amongst celebrities like Ariana Grande (Neptune 1h) and Michael Jackson (Pisces moon in the first house + Pisces ascendant), they have a plethora of copycats.

5. Significant Neptune energy in a chart can bring artistic/creative and spiritual gifts.

Some of the best artists have strong Neptune in their chart. This planet brings artistic abilities when it comes to drawing, painting, and even music. Being musically gifted is a big one with this planet because these people understand music on a deeper level and they are able to use music as an outlet and speak to those who may be in a similar situation. Also, they are always praised for their beautiful voice. There’s really something about their voice…it’s enchanting.

These are also the people who tend to be tapped in to the spiritual realm. They usually possess psychic abilities and may have an interest in occult practices. There’s really a lot that can be learned from these people, it’s like they were just born “in the know.”

NEPTUNE’S ENERGY

When Neptune resides in whichever house and sign it’s in, it inflates that energy of the said sign and house (aspects can also do this). Sagittarius and Pisces were once under the same planet, Jupiter, and Pisces, now rules over Neptune, still carries that Jupiterian influence over to the new planet which is to expand (which goes back to my point of Neptune and inflation). 

 However, as we also know that Neptune is very illusioned, glamorized and confusing, I have an explanation on why it is that way. The inflated energy of Neptune makes it unable to hold onto the substantial value of things inside that planet, which causes confusion due to the inability to see past the fog inside (and make the atmosphere feels empty, which surely also reflects the inner state of neptunian natives). 

 Think about this, you can’t contain air in a huge space. Sometimes it brings in the trash and dirts, which are invaluable, and if nothing was ever there, then you just grab onto false belief and hope. Similarly, when you dissect a planet in your 12H, like mercury for example, you’ll realize that you didn’t fully comprehend/understand yourself or fully develop inner philosophies that comes from your own discovery, but rather can parrot someone’s else ideologies just because it seems to ‘resonate’. Or a Sun 12H at its core is realizing that they don’t have an ego, a lack of identity, finding themselves being hollowed on the inside with nothing to offer, and they can chase after the next ‘perfect’ thing. It is also a spiritual planet, so it develops things on its own but they never learn how to maintain what they already have.

Neptunians in general are perfectionists (and easily put on a pedestal) and the emptiness of it all can make for the illusion to come in easily (being swayed and accepting it because they don’t have anything in the way or anything to resist it), which puts them under pressure and expectations to live up to the image they supposedly have and fill the cup even though there is nothing there to fill it up.

Here’s some concept sketches and an explanation:

I imagine Neptunians are fairly unknown among the various species in Invincible. They have incredibly low density, due to being from a gaseous planet. One of Neptune’s years last for 165 Earth years, but their days are only 16 hours. In this AU, that’s directly because of its people.

Being fairly humanlike, and not wanting to spend days in direct light or darkness, Neptunians are able to use the gravitational pull of their flight path to increase the planet’s revolution speed. When they orbit around the planet, they are able to spin Neptune faster. The strongest Neptunians are able to even move the planet around the Sun more quickly, but don’t as to not run into the other planets.

Neptunians are ranged fighters because of this. They are fairly weak when fighting melee, but will often use their gravitational pull to “collect” asteroids while flying, coming to a sudden stop to hurl them at foes. They are also quite resilient, able to survive most mortal wounds since their blood is so cold it freezes up the moment it leaves their bodies. They have no hearts or many internal organs to speak of, creating blood by breathing in any frigid gas. They have a main diet of space rocks and diamonds (which are presumed to rain down on Neptune.)

Extreme temperatures are their forte due to Neptune’s core being so hot and the outer layers being so cold. Moderate temperatures and high densities are much more difficult for them to fight in. They tend to go absolutely flying when hit by a denser being, like a Viltrumite, but they are able to go back into the fight stronger with their improvised “ranged weaponry.”

As for philosophy, Neptunians are quite reserved, but they believe in helping others, willing to sacrifice their own lives to save another. They often redirect fatal asteroids and meteors from hitting other planets, but have remained out of Viltrumite business up to the current day. They can combat them if extremely strong, but are generally quite a bit weaker. They are born purely from Neptune’s gases, and return to that gas when they die. They go from formless blobs as children to humanlike as adults.

. ➶ ˚ Don't lie for someone who has strong placements in 12th (Neptunian), Lilith( 8th/6th house dominant), Plutonian (Scorpio) , and Mercurian (3rd-6th placement) because they always find out what kind of fire you exactly play with them. You won't like it.

. ➶ ˚ People with south code in 10th house as well the north code  indicated that your past life used to work or to be known/recognized for your intelligence or talents in public. And because of this, you always need to be sure of every step you take. All your bad deeds will come back and come back to you. Karma is faster when your south code and north code are working together. On the other hand you will also rise quickly if you use it in an appropriate way.
