Morgan’s Comics is a woman owned comic store in Asheville, NC, the very first in WNC to be owned by a woman. During COVID-19, the store has taken a hit. We’ve all, I think, feared that we would lose the store a time or two, but Morgan has kept her head high and we continue to fight for the store. She’s never outright said it, but I know it’s taken a hit that we were lucky to survive and I don’t know if we could take a second one. Unfortunately, that’s what we’re facing if covid numbers don’t go down.
That being said, we need help. Morgan doesn’t know I’m posting these here, but they’re on the Facebook so I think it’s okay. Please, PLEASE donate if you can. This store has saved lives, brought a community, a family even, together, and continues to be a beacon of light for the ones who love Morgan and love this store. The photos show what we’re fighting for, but it’s so much more than that. This store is home. I would die for this store. This store means the world to so many people and I can’t stand by and do nothing.
This is a video showing Morgan’s efforts to bring people together during the shutdowns, doing deliveries and curbside, talking about how much she loves her store and the people who shop here, and it even has how she met her fiancé!
