I have psoriasis that basically only flares when my skin is damaged in some way and so for the first 30 years of my life I just thought that's what my scar tissue just happened to look like, until my GP pointed at the weird purple "scar" on my knee from when I skinned it three months prior & said, "that looks like psoriasis"
