So I have been writing a little this year. I haven't really posted much becuase there hasn't been much. I'm still in the Pedro fandom, but the tank has been empty. 😭 I do have a few things I'm trying to be motivated and work on but the juices haven't been flowing.
I planned to post more BG3 stuff I had but I haven't really worked on any of that either.
I did write a few LADS things, but only two of them were worth posting on AO3 (where I toss things willy nilly and don't think about anymore - unlike here where I worry about what it looks like, sounds like, visuals, did forget to to tag and such). Hopefully as some point I'll post a full fic on here at some point, but I'd thought I'd put up an actual post letting people know I'm still lurking around.

It’s been a sad week, stressful week, creative week and a bit of a travel week.
Trigger warning for mention of death and mental health:
Someone I worked with, though not closely, usually saw them most mornings and afternoons during my shifts died on our unit this past Sunday at work. He was just working his shift like the rest of us. Passed out, they called a code blue (heart stopped) and I knew when they said they were still working on him it was too long.
I did go down and pay my respects with some of the other staff.
That was the start of the week. Thankfully I did already have some time off already arranged so I’m certainly using it. I’m writing my feelings out and just writing in general.
Also leading up to Sunday, my sleep wasn’t the best either. So Nerdie might be a bit off not that I wasn’t before.

I haven’t been online much in the last few weeks or posting as often. (The daily 00:30 am posts are from my queue and I have things queued deep into October of this year. 🤔 The queue is overflowing.😂)
I should be more active this weekend for writing, reblog and general fun and shenanigans but it’s been tiring as of late. Kinda Tumblr, but mostly real life stuff.

Good. Nothing to complain about. Mainly relaxed and then worked Thursday and Friday. My orientee made me laugh.

She said that now that she's had some different preceptors she enjoys my balances of being a bit hands off since I know she's experienced, but still checking in during the shift to see how things are going. (Puffs out chest and also wonders if that's a good or bad thing.)

I did a bit. Not as much as I normally do. I'm gearing up for projects I have either agreed to or planned for myself.
My two fics are quite different. One was silly and sweet and the other was filth. Nerdie in a nutshell really:

Working on two things I promised people. One requested fluff and the other action and smut.
I decided to start a new series (because clearly I don't have enough - Dieter, Frankie and Tim give Nerdie a death glare) 👀 because this Pedro character was in my WIPs way before the three of you! Might even help me brainstorm…
Two Hearts by the Ocean will feature Javier Gutierrez x Abigail (plus size OFC). The vibe is sweet summer romance. Mainly fluff every Wednesday, not sure how many parts, at least five. I might be trying to figure out how to write Ezra. I love reading fics with the man, but his speech patterns have so many nuances to it. I've been studying @morallyinept aka Jett's Pedro Pascal Character Database that she's been compiling and her entry on Ezra from Prospect has been invaluable. It's an excellent reference for Pedro character fic writers or if you just wanna know more. She also has one specifically on Ezra’s speech patterns that I swear I’ve read at least four times.
It's me, I'm the problem. 😭 I’m either overthinking or not focusing on the right parts. Ugh…

I did dabble in a few things this week.
A new discord server started by myself and my friend fhatbhabie for Latinx/Black/POC Pedro stans. It’s one of those things where I shouldn't have been as surprised by the overwhelming support for it as I was. It’s actually been pretty awesome and I’ve had very thoughtful DMs. The name of the server is Unhinged Clubhouse.
I wrote my first mostly smut fic in a while with Dave York. Trule wasn’t expecting him of all Pedro characters but, the smut fairy does what she wants, when she wants and I just gotta roll with it. It was another entry for Jett’s Flora & Fauna Challenge.
Going through my inbox - mostly caught up but still a few outstanding replied to be made. Sorry about that.
Lastly, working on WIPs and deciding in addition to working more on Weddings 101 with Dieter, which other series I’ve been working on did I want to pop out there? Frankie and Ezra’s series are finished and I think I might wrap up the on Din series in the next part or two. The other Din series I have to workshop a bit. I have ideas of who I want to pop up next from Star Wars, I just need to work it in.
Also Weddings Dieter: Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow and cheese? How do we feel about this? I also could use some help in deciding between the following for my next series: Marcus Pike vs. hot dogs + therapy, me finally writing nice things for Javi P, Dieter + brick house + you and a baby, and Pero Tovar + Dragon for revenge?
Lastly, does anyone have some prompts for nipples? It sounds weird, but consider, this is me. Also with @mysterious-moonstruck-musings influence, I have a weird bullet point list and made a horrible drawing. I just need to write something so it will leave my mind. I hope.
