Bull wakes to a warm body pressed against his side. Silky hair brushes his shoulder and soft breath puffs against his skin. He smiles when he realizes that it’s not Dust cuddled up against him, but Fenris, one lyrium traced arm thrown across Bull’s stomach. He and Fenris are settled comfortably in the center of the large bed, while Dust has drifted off to the side, sprawled on her belly with one leg hanging off the edge entirely. Bull's black t-shirt, which she had insisted on sleeping in, is bunched up all the way to her armpits, leaving her virtually naked. She’d tossed off the duvet except for a corner of it that’s making a valiant effort to cover her ass. Koslun’s balls it’s a nice view. She’s also managed to pull most of the covers off of him and Fenris, which might explain why the other man gravitated to Bull’s higher body temperature. Either way, it’s an extremely pleasant way to wake up.
The only problem is Bull needs to piss, and he’s not likely to be able to get out of bed without waking one or both of them, and that seems like a real shame. Ignoring his bladder for the moment he shifts his arm so he can run his fingers gently through Fenris’ hair. It’s thicker than Dust’s, without any hint of a curl, sliding cool and heavy between Bull’s fingers. Fenris shifts against him and he looks down to see the other man squinting at him sleepily.
“Feel free to continue doing that forever," he mumbles, and it’s unexpectedly cute.
“Might have to pause to answer the call of nature.”
Fenris grumbles and tightens his arm around Bull. It’s a novel experience to think that Fenris might be able to restrain him if he put his mind to it. It’s actually pretty hot.
“I mean you don’t have to let me up, but I don’t remember watersports being on anyone’s list of things they wanted last night.’
“Ugh.” Fenris lifts his head just enough to glare at Bull, who grins in return. “Fine, but I’m not moving. Roll over Dust, it serves her right for stealing the covers.”
