This was so much fun to figure out, as I've had this tattoo in my mind for the past decade. I'm so proud and happy to have it on my skin, except that it's currently in the itchy phase, and it's so hard to stop myself from scratching it 😭

Not only is it a dedication to my favourite game, but also incorporating my love for Middle Earth and everything that entails. Some day I hope to add a dragon along the left side curling over my hip around the quote; maybe a Smaug/Urthemiel mash up?

Maybe some day I'll get a series of video game plants circling a limb, like Royal Elfroot, Silent Princess, maybe more?

The writing is phonetic, not what I have written exactly above, that transcription will be below, as it was a very interesting project to embark on, translating it into phonetic spelling. It's very much, do I do it as it would be phonetic from the real dictionary, or more as how I personally would say it? And it's a bit of a mash up.

So technically, what is written is this:

Dragon age Origins is my all time favourite game, and this quote hit me particularly hard when I first heard it. I'm super pleased to have it etched on my skin forever, and proud of myself for learning Cirth to do it, lol.

My name is Kerrie and I’m a 32yr old tattoo artist from Calgary, AB. I’ve been tattooing for 4 years and have been in the industry/community for about 17 years.

I love working on illustrated pieces, full colour and anything nerdy. I’m lucky enough to be able to work on solely flash and have developed so many new skills over the last 6 months since I opening my own space.
