One of my least favorite symptoms has got to be what I call skin-feels-wrong. Where my skin just feels…weird. Off. Unpleasant. It’s not even pain, it’s just bad.

Experiencing the type of paresthetic nerve weirdness where every brush of anything against my skin, every shifting of hair follicles, etc., feels like bugs are crawling on me. Light breeze moves a piece of hair? Brain says “bugs crawling on me.” Sleeve of shirt grazes my arm? “Bugs.”
The nerve pain in my ass has reached the point where it’s past hurting and has just gone numb. Feels like I’m walking around with a dead hunk of meat in my glute. Which would be okay enough to deal with, except that I’m still getting the referred pain in the surrounding areas. Booo, 2/5 stars.
Laying outside and I can once again confirm that much of my paresthesia is indeed indistinguishable from actual bugs actually crawling on me.
