I have another question that’s really more of an author ask rather than a character ask lol! What made u want to create a story like this? Ofc if u feel comfortable answering. It’s really cool observing the depth of the characters and how the plot has expanded onto so much more than the core event

So

I was in a writing slump and I complained so much to @casnextdoor and she basically popped up in my asks with a prompt that we both knew would challenge me because I cringe at the sign of cheating, and it really seriously was only supposed to be a one shot.

Like if you notice the ending of Stalemate, I felt like I should leave it to the reader to figure out if they worked things out or of she left, but as I discussed it more with my betas and mind you I could not shut up, I thought, hmm how about the other woman and then it became five parts, then I talked about the band and then it was ten and twelve, fifteen, twenty for a good couple of months and well,,, we are on part 28 so,

I went in blind. I have 94 documents for Nerve, 🤣 and that's planning and links and aesthetics, I juggled three endings, and I spent the longest time discussing the pros and cons of yn staying and leaving, and I guess with the readers, such as yourself and the feedback, it's become what it is.

It's just been a great experience tbh.
