The Nesoi (Greek Nῆσοι "islands"), in ancient Greek religion, were the goddesses of islands. Each island was said to have its own personification. They were classified as one of the ancient elemental Greek primordial deities. The Nesoi were thought to have been Ourea who were cast under the sea during one of Poseidon's rages.

In Greek mythology, the Nesoi were the primordial goddesses of the islands. Each island had its own personified deity. According to Callimachus the Nesoi were originally Ourea (Mountains) which Poseidon levered into the sea with his trident.

Dragon A Day 2023: DAY SIX: A Dragon and their Matching Familiar

Every good wizard must have a familiar to help them with their spells. Nesoi has this thing (haven't named it yet, Any Suggestions?? For some reason I was thinking Froyd). It's a useful and helpful assistant but it creeps most of the rest of the clan out (Nesoi's wife Yerwyth likes it, however, and that's all that matters to him) and it's quite TERRIBLE at playing cards, despite Nesoi's attempts to teach it.
