so my roommate and boyfriend surprised me with a trip to MA to see Vanessa Carlton live and I could probably die. After 13 years of loving Vanessa Carlton, I'm finally going to see her live. I can't even begin to describe how much this means to me...

Vanessa Carlton is coming to Chicago in November to promote her new album. I have to go.
She is seriously the only artist who, after a new album release, I'd go out of my way to make sure I bought it the day of or the week of its release. I've always thought that after A Thousand Miles (a blessing and a curse I kinda think), she was really underrated.
