Ok ok you pulled my arm. My next story in the collection is tomatt again, and it's going to be split in half. I want to get the first part out by my birthday at the end of march.

Gonna ramble a bit about it here. if you want to go in blind then just dont read this.

ppl have come up with various ideas of why tom turns into a monster, the original take from tomska was "Rage demon" so basically the hulk. I still subscribe to the idea that its controlled by emotions and tom has some sort of demon living inside his body (cant possess something twice!).

When I had the idea of his parents both being passed (his dad in the bears incident and his mum something else), I thought why not have the demon thing be a REASON his mother died and it bloomed into a familial curse. others have pinned sheriff thompson as the reason tom's family has demons in it, but i don't think he was involved. He has normal eyes, after all.

the details are pretty nonspecific but somewhere in tom's bloodline, his family participated in the salem witch trials and some 36 yr old witch doomed his family to die the same age as her. the women specifically. its why i drew both his mum and aunt with the blacked out eyes, and tom being afab has them as well. their lives get cut short at 36 and this is why bonnie had tom when she was very young.

now... the story itself is... does the curse TRULY apply to him? How does everyone around react to his 36th birthday approaching? etc etc. it's long and set in a time JUST before wtfuture. but dont worry i have plans for THAT too.

it’s just…the speak now era was so unapologetically and BOLDLY taylor. the glitter everywhere the full gowns on stage the sass the agony the drama the tension the sheer MADNESS. it’s SO trademark taylor in a way i feel is stronger than any other era. i’m so excited to embrace it
