on the one hand, i get that the plot needed solomon out of the picture so that peter could presumably take his place as jacob's right hand man in season 3

on the other hand, i kinda wish the writers hadn't killed him off so soon because i would've loved to see him and peter bond over their similar motivations and then team up to take jacob down
