In a different world, where Pokemon do mining and crafting, a Luxio thrives in the joy and cruelty of exploring, fighting and looting.

Been playing in Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon for a while now. Very fun Cobblemon server for builders, explorers and treasure hunters alike. Instead of going for a new OC (or at least the Mienfoo version of Wander, since she fits the narrative more), I went with Starby, and inspired this doodle page. I just find a weapon-wielding Luxio fascinating to draw :P

Though this is an alternate version of Starby- where she's a manic treasure-hunter who, like many explorers of CobbleMythi, fights with weapons instead of... moves?

Finally finished my piece from the Masquerade Chapter, all I gotta say is Niki’s character walking around with a sword with murder intent is *chef’s kiss*

Work was slow today and I took the time to practice drawing knotwork by designing a sword.

I still don’t consider myself to be really all that good at knotwork, but it’s something I want to practice and get better at.

I plan on drawing this in more detail later and adding some color digitally.

This sword is named “Guðblað”—a combination of the Icelandic words “Guð”, meaning “God”, and “blað”, meaning “blade”—and is inspired by the netherite sword I use in my minecraft world. I really like the idea of this fantastical legendary sword made from layers of materials—wood, diamonds, gold, and dark steel—and really want to play with those colors on a design.
