i just now saw the ask from last month.

you mentioned once that Queen Louise had a twin >.> Who all was in her family? and was it a case of King George's father just lining up all the pretty girls in Clowny Island and then picking her?

Yes, Queen Louise had a twin sister named Maxine. Even though they were identical, Louise was always referred to as the "pretty one".

As kids, the twins were known around the kingdom as the "Good Fortune Sisters" and they had a little table in the laundromat where their mom, Isabel, worked. They would do psychic readings for candy and spare change. Whether or not they actually had any clairvoyant power is still unknown, but people found them cute either way.

Louise and Maxine were raised by their single mother. They never met their father..

The girls were always close. Maxine was even Louise's maid of honor at here wedding. Even though she wasn't as traditionally minded as Louise and wasn't sure about the whole royalty thing, Maxine did support her sister on everything she wanted to do. And she loved her little nieces, never saying no to babysitting them.

Maxine was also a lesbian, but at the time, being queer was taboo so she never told anyone. Louise, ever oblivious, thought her sister's long term roommate was just a very good friend. :)

She died suddenly. It was (obviously) devastating for Louise and their mom.

As for how the royal family picked Louise as queen:

Every next-in-line royal has an arranged marriage, based on what the current ruler deems important at the time. Queen Retta, for example, was chosen for her intelligence and while queen she went on to develop different medicines and potions.

When it was time to choose a wife for their son, George, Queen Retta and King Quinten held a pageant for all the interested teen girls in Clowny Island. They wanted someone beautiful, yes, but also smart, compassionate, charismatic and, well, queenly.

Louise won easily.

So if George was upset the twins separated and took away him making money off em, how did Louise take it? Did she get to see them more once they could come and go as they pleased? (I love Louise.)

Queen Louise was sooo happy. Since her husband was no longer trying to keep Will and Fred away from the public eye, she was eager to take them out and spoil them. Louise moved her precious twins downstairs to Quinn and Penelope's old room and organized a debutante ball for them. It was mandatory that everyone in the kingdom attend. :D

17. how did they spend their summers/free time as a child?

As a kid, Kingston really liked a children's variety tv program that often featured a magician. He spent a lot of his free time learning and practicing illusions. His dad, Charles, taught him some of what he knew and the two would bond by learning new illusions from books and going to magic shops together.

28. how do they show that they care about someone? how do they express that they don't like someone?

Quinn takes care of those she cares about. She's quick to go into helper mom mode and will immediately look for solutions to make people feel better.

Quinn is also very affectionate with her loved ones. She'll take any opportunity to make physical contact, give encouragement, and let people know that she cares about them.

If Quinn doesn't like you, you probably know it because she's not good at masking the anger or disgust on her face. (She might also yell at you, depending on what you did.)

32. do they have any habits that aren't particularly self-destructive, just maybe odd?

Oh man, Leo has so many self-destructive habits it's hard picking out the mundane ones. But let's see...

Leo is pretty nosy and has a habit of listening in on other people's conversations. He bonds with Cupcake and Daisy over gossip.

Being the kingdom's treasurer, circus producer, and son of two bank CEOs, Leo has a habit he's trying to shake of seeing items and immediately determining their monetary value.

Leo always wants the latest version of technology. Like, his ePhone could be perfectly fine, but he'll toss it as soon as the newest one is released. (Claudette and Charlie have already called dibs on his current phone.)

First of all, congrats on another storyline down! You put a lot of hard work into this webcomic.

Second, this has been on my mind since the post about Will and Fred's debut party (and how Louise loves to have a party) but I didn't want to interrupt workflow. So did Quinn have a coronation, or what it just "Daddy Deadest is gone off this mortal coil, put on the crown and take on the debt"?

No, Quinn hasn't had her official coronation...yet 😏
