Endoscopic anatomy of the right foramen of Monro and third ventricle as seen prior to performing a third ventriculostomy for a patient with communicating hydrocephalus. #Repost @matthewpottsmd This was caused by a thalamic arteriovenous malformation (AVM) compressing the cerebral aqueduct. A carotid endarterectomy for symptomatic carotid stenosis. #Repost @matthewpottsmd After clamping the common, internal, and external carotid arteries, the carotid bifurcation is opened.
