d’you ever want to do a mercy robbery?  Just like, break into someone’s house and steal things because they’re drowning in stuff but can’t bring themselves to give any of it away?

I'm going to the library to check out a translated copy of Journey to the West tomorrow- the issue is, I can't drive, so my mom had to take me.

Understandably, she asked why this book specifically, because never once have I reasarched a book to find at the library, it goes against my nature- So I briefly and vaguely explained by saying "Well, one interest bled into another, it's a very slippery slope." She then looked into the book and was curious about which one of my interests could have possibly lead to wanting to read it.

To this, I said "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me." Foolishly, she responded "Try me."

"Well, it all started when I started watching Ninjago."

That conversation did not progress beyond that point.
