Hi! Very important question: who would win a pokemon battle between you and Grey?
My money's on you but my friend thinks Grey would use clever held items.
Grey is very adept at using brute force, good old fashioned strength, persistence, and sturdy defence, and really works with his partners to draw out their natural skills and styles.
I’m a little more underhanded, sneaky, some may call it unfair. Strategy, adaption, and opportunity are my thing. Luckily my team are real pros, I could not be more proud of how hard they work.
His held items sure do give him an edge in battle though, I must admit some of his prototypes are a little OP, he took me on with a farfetch’d with an actual sword one time. He certainly pushes the boundaries of what is and is not a held item.
I’ll always use terrain, Pokemon abilities, moves with multi-use potential, and a bucket of gut instinct. You gotta feel the vibe, least I do, and it works well with my team mates.
I feel the real threat is double battling us both. We’re like coffee and cream, just kind of work together, and we both know each other’s teams so well now that we’ve been together so long, it’s very stale-mate when we fight. He knows my tricks, I know his, and training is always a group effort, so our Pokemon all tend to get along well enough, some even enjoy working together. They know each other too.
This year, our win-lose streak is 11-8 to me. But he’s been working on some gear that I’ve been unable to sneak a look at, so maybe he can pull it back this time haha!
