hi idk if you were actually curious or if people have already told you but in response to your post about being in a simulation:
ime most simulation delusions come with a sense of urgency about the situation outside of the simulation, or something dangerous about being stuck in the simulation. "if i dont get out of the simulation soon the people i care about will die" or something. the simulation itself often isnt the actual issue, its just like. the vehicle
yes i understand this. i do actually also experience delusions. my post is not saying that experiencing delusions about a simulated or generally fake reality makes you dumb or stupid as i would also be incredibly dumb or stupid in that case. i had thought the comparison to children trying to say that love doesn't exist because it's just chemicals would have helped clear up what im talking about but im more referring to "rationalist" types who are very convinced that we are in a simulation and how i thought it was a pointless thing to think about as it is at the end of the day completely unfalsifiable and there for not something that will ever impact anything in any real manner.
