What’s your Hogwarts house? RAVENCLAW!!! (it was always between that and Hufflepuff, so I let Pottermore be the final word, and they chose Ravenclaw!)
Who’s your biggest inspiration? Hmmm...as far as writing goes, probably Neal Stephenson. He`s just an amazing sci-fi writer, and I can only hope to reach his level someday. In general I`m not sure, I have a lot of people that I draw inspiration from.
Favorite book? Probably Lord of the Rings. I`m hardly a Tolkien scholar, but I absolutely fell in love with that book. Other favorites include Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, Ender`s Game by Orson Scott Card, The Amazing Adventure of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon, and a few others.
Favorite character (from your favorite book or not)? Oh boy, I can`t choose. So many...
Tea, coffee, both, neither? Both, though I tend to lean towards coffee :)
Are you a writer? If yes, favorite sentence from what you’re working on now. If no, favorite genre or story trope? Oh God! Favorite sentence from something I`m working on now: Eventually that dust would swirl evaporate into the air, maybe creating a pattern inside a stream of light before disappearing like he`d never existed
What’s your favorite thing about yourself? I`m very easygoing and (I like to think) grateful for the good things I have and receive
What story universe would you most want to live in? The wizarding world from Harry Potter!! That was kind of my first big intro into fantasy worlds, so I got really swept up in it (plus, I like that it`s sort of a balance between the Muggle world and the wizards` world).
Favorite subject? English, but I actually found physics pretty fun as well. I also did some theatre and music classes, those were always great :D
Favorite quote? "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." I always feel like I need to remind myself of that: that I can only do so much, and there`s no use worrying about things that are out of my control.
Share a cute childhood story? When we were kids my brothers and I always needed proof that Santa had come, so my mom would leave candy canes outside our doors on Christmas morning :)
