Almost 7 months ago I met the most intelligent, beautiful, unique, funny, and intriguing woman on the planet. To say I had a crush on her would be an understatement. Since then, that "crush" has grown into a love I never thought was possible, and I can guarantee that it will continue to grow with time. Words can't describe how proud I am to be able to call her my girlfriend.
So here's to you babe. And to us. I'm sorry I can't be with you this summer. But I promise you all of the adventures when I come back :)
Life Lessons Learned from Chicago
1. Always talk to the person next to you on the train. You never know who you'll meet.
2. Chucks do not do well in the snow
3. When faced with the choice of going to a karaoke bar or not, say yes.
4. Frosting covered pastries turn into glazed doughnuts in the oven.
5. Train schedules are a lie.
6. Froyo is delicious no matter how cold it is.
7. Five star hotels are surprisingly easy to break into.
8. Bagels in bed are my new favorite breakfast.
9. The best adventures are spontaneous.
10. My girlfriend is the best.
Woke up next to a gorgeous girl. The sun is shining. My last final is today. I can't stop smiling. Life is grand.
There are few things that make me happier than the things my girlfriend says when she is tired. "So face. All sleeps. Many happy. For you." Goodnight.
My girlfriend needs to hurry up and catch up on Dr. Who so we can watch the 50th anniversary. My dashboard is like a spoiler minefield.
Mary is probably the best girlfriend in the world because I left my tumblr logged in on her computer and she's not doing anything embarrassing like posting photos of me sleeping or anything like that because she is awesome and this is definitely not her saying this. She is adorable and my favorite person ever and I don't even understand how she is so cool.
And this is definitely me, Emily, writing this. Not Mary. Mary is nowhere near her laptop right now. Nope. This is Emily.
Never laughed harder with Liz and Brittnay on AIM. Talking about the Olympics.
