Jack Sparrow rested a hand on his swords hilt as he silently stalked around the dance floor. He was growing weary of the long night, for deeper reasons than just annoyance. A few choice moments made him even more on edge and a deep intuition told him he should leave and soon.
Yet he remained, catching simple glances of each person that wandered by. One caught his eye, a new face. Debating was done quickly as he approached her, hand up to tap his hat while he spoke in a light murmur. "Evening lass. Can't bother you with a simple dance, can I?"

He realized that the spell Turnip Head, a.k.a Prince Justin, was under could only be broken by true love's kiss (that is, if he had deduced that correctly during the whole mess in the Waste). That got the gears in his skull turning... Did Sophie truly love the turnip?
