Where Did The Love Go?
Where did the love go? Did it finally pack its bags and leave? Did we truly lose it? I wake up everyday with the intentions to love you, but my heart isn’t there. I lose myself; I’m looking at other woman. Handing out my number at first not thinking anything of it. A few weeks later I find myself pulling up to other woman houses in the car that we first made love in.
I don’t know how to control myself. Damn, where did the love go? Cheating on you wasn’t what I wanted or maybe it was. I’ve tried so many times to let you know. That my heart had pulled out, but once I open my mouth the words tend to leave me. It’s like my mind and heart are at war. Weed & alcohol don’t seem to make it better; they only seem to empower my cheating. Hopefully I can find the cure before it gets back to you.
Where did the love go? Right now I can’t seem to see it nor find it. Damn what do I do? Now I got a baby on the way and it isn’t with you. How... how did I let it get this far... Where did the love go??
