what are your thoughts on wlw ABO?
I haven't really experimented much with it (I have gender dysphoria and that makes it hard to write things with female/female aligned characters inspite of being a wlw myself) but it's good? I guess? I don't have any specific headcanons sorry
How would you write a non cliche kissing scene? In what other ways could you describe kissing??? Thank you!
I think it would depend on what your definition of what a cliché kissing scene is. And how heavy of a kissing scene you're planning on writing. Is it an awkward and nervous first kiss? Do they accidentally knock teeth? Or is it a scene between passionate lovers? What are they feeling? Did they just sneak out to be together and are giddy with adrenaline and excitement? Could it potentially be their last kiss? Fuel the scene with their emotions, or lack thereof. Get a feel for how the characters would interact and behave around each other.
Maybe this will be of some use to you! http://referenceforwriters.tumblr.com/post/39375744354/how-to-write-a-kiss

First thought: If the scene where your characters are kissing is not cliched, you have a good beginning. If your characters are well-rounded, unique souls, ditto. The kiss comes from them, from their relationship. Think about that first, then delve into the links below.
I would also go to YouTube and type in something like “best movie kisses” for some visual inspiration. I’d do that right now, but I’m at work. ;-)
This is a megapost and I’m not sure who originally posted it, sorry. I’ve had it in my resource file for a while. If anyone can confirm, inbox us. Thanks!
Lots of lip-smacking good description ideas here!
Brief, but with an example. The KISS principle! (in this case, Keep It Short and Sweet; no insults required.)
A good list of links to more goodies.
What type of bands or artist do you listen to?
