I honestly can't praise her enough, the whole scene was perfectly done, the right amount of drunk haziness mixed with sincere despair and confusion at where she's finding herself.

Hee, there's this whole consecutive set of asks just pointing out individual moments from this scene which just shows how effective it was.
I noticed that swallow too! It was such a longass scene and you'll probably have noticed it's more than 10 gifs (or 10 and a bonus), the second time I've ever done that, I try to keep the size and length down but this scene just could be broken up for me, or parts of it cut out.
Including that swallow! Man, if she thought Ji-wan staring at her was too intense, I can't imagine what this moment felt like, with Ji-wan all up close and an arm around her waist, confessing how Sol's her favorite person.

Yes! Like, yes, of course, that's how it should be but she has walked this very fine line of being a good and supportive female friend, with all the inherent touching and intimacy that comes with that and then also knowing she's fully in love with this girl and never wanting to take advantage.

I know we are focusing on the drunken confession, but the WHOLE episode had so much! They were constantly touching each other and my fave was actually the ferris wheel or right before, when Sol initially isn't going to go on but when JiWan said she was going, Sol immediately changed her mind cause she knew she would need to be there to comfort JiWan. So chivalrous of Sol!

I honestly can't pick, from the very first scene where Jin-wa runs directly to Sol to the confession to of course the Ferris wheel scenes, both before getting on and during. Someone floated the theory to me that Sol isn't actually afraid of heights but backed out so that Ji-wan would be able to and save face, and like, though I'm not sure that was the case, the fact that it's so possible really tells us so much about Sol. Especially since her concern truly was Ji-wan, whether she was scared or not herself, she ended up joining her.
Even that little moment in the guest house when Sol called out to Ji-wan to join her, holding out her hand, was adorable. One of the things I've continuously loved about them is that they have such a clear friendship dynamic set up even outside the romance. Like, even if they weren't in love, there'd be this physical affection, the teasing, the protectiveness, the closeness, Sol being the chivalrous one and Ji-wan supporting her in little ways.
I don't watch Nevetheless, but it seems like "clothes tugging/pulling" is now claimed by the gays too 😂😂😂
