Okay, but Sol desperately texting Jiwan during her blind date (in the first episode, I think) LOL... I wonder if she always acted like that every time Jiwan dated a guy. Some thoughts?

Rewatching that scene, I feel like she's especially anxious because she's having to hang out with these friends she doesn't really want to and they're all just talking about Ji-wan and the guys she likes. So I think the texting on this occasion is more like a distraction and attempt to get Ji-wan to save Sol from putting up with all the rest.

I think at other times she would probably be in situations where she could focus on other things and yeah, she'd hate it, and stare at her phone and hope for a text signaling Ji-wan had returned home or wanted to hang but she could try to at least put it aside.

Buuuut, I also do think that now she's beginning to realize that one of these days, one of these relationships is going to be serious and longterm and is really dreading that. That one-year trip one of the friends mentioned, that could actually happen. Of course, now we know it's gonna happen with herrrrrrrrrrr. :D
