Hi hope you're doing great. I was going through some gif sets and i noticed that when sol was putting her jacket on jiwan so that she doesn't feel cold, you can see that jiwan almost thought sol was hugging her/ she wanted to hug sol. You can clearly see her left hand moving towards her to hug her but then she realised what sol was doing and held herself back.

Yeah, it would definitely seem to her like Sol was reaching out to hug her, especially after this thwarted hug moments earlier. ABHS (Always Be Hugging Sol), that's Ji-wan's motto. :P

I know we were all D: after the staircase scene in ep 8 when Sol stopped Ji-wan from touching her, but I think it says a lot more about her feelings about herself than a specific anger or resentment toward Ji-wan.

Here, Sol was feeling too on edge to allow the hug, which she's usually fine about, but it was right after the spin the bottle close call. She knows they have a great friendship and that most of her touches are motivated by that, but there's a part of her that's always aware she's in love with Ji-wan too and doesn't want to take advantage. And moments like this and obviously the drunk confession bring that to the fore. When it's like, but why can't we...and then of course her strategy is avoidance, understandably. Though still too chivalrous to let Ji-wan go out into the cold unprotected. )
