2021 Impact players: Defense Defense hasn’t been strong this year (at all), but they have some players that are growing and be here next year... #TrevonDiggs, #NevilleGallimore, #DonovanWilson and #RandyGregory Trevon Diggs- Sadly, he suffered a possible season ending foot injury in this past game, but he has grown a TON since week 1 and was seeming to get better every week. Really wanted to see him the rest of the year and it sucks for his development, but I think he will be a star 🌟 moving forward. We hit on that pick so far Neville Gallimore- Just like Trevon, he seems to grow right before our eyes on a weekly basis. He flashed a little in the past few weeks but he flat out TOOK OVER the game on Sunday against one of the best o lines in football. This man looks explosive, strong, good instincts, high motor, etc. He’s got all the tools and should bolster a spot as your starting DT next year and moving forward. Donovan Wilson- I was banging the table for him to start since week 1 and still can’t believe they trotted #DarianThompson out there for so long. Wilson is soooo much better than him and looks like a capable starter. He competes on every play as hard as he can (just like Trevon). He’s a good tackler, ball skills, decent in coverage, etc. He’s not a great player, but serviceable in a position of need. I would be more than content if he’s the starting SS in 2021 Randy Gregory- What a ride it’s been for this man. He’s finally got it figured out off the field and is showing he hasn’t missed a beat on the field. This guy added much needed size and is still hyper explosive. He’s bendy and is good against the run.
