Angie Miller is finally releasing the song from that indie Little Mermaid movie but not as Zealyn?

Fans: “Hey Angie. Will you be releasing Tides to the Moon?"

"I love the song in the trailer/movie. Will you release the full version?”

“Please release Tides to the Moon!”

Zealyn: I won't release the song. It's recorded strictly for the film.

Fans: 😭

Me: Okay then. Maybe she will when the time comes.

And I was like, “Nah! Must be some cover artist.” until I checked out the song on Spotify and hit preview. I was not expecting that the supposedly cover artist turned out to be Angie freaking Miller a.k.a freaking Zealyn writing and singing this song. Who and what are A. W. Essex?

According to Little Mermaid's Instagram, A. W. Essex is Angie under a new alias. First Zealyn and now this? Interesting. I wonder what genre of music is she going to make as her new alias. Will she ever announce this song on her socials? Maybe, maybe not.

I can finally reveal both my new username and my new alias…

For the past 8 months, the username “xXMashaAlibekXx” never truly gave me happiness as the core extension of myself. When I rebranded back in March 2025, I thought it would save my platform, but it wasn’t enough. My platform still struggled under the weight of outside noise, and I was left waiting—afraid—unsure if the right time to change would ever come.

I had been “Masha Alibek” for so long that it felt like the only way people saw me. But after years of trauma, growth, rebirth, and light, I’ve realized something important: the right time to move forward is now. Not in hesitation. Not in fear. But in truth.

My name is Masha Alibek. From this moment on, I will be making art and content as Sixtail.

It’s nice to finally meet you, as I truly am. 💙⚡️
