I’m going with top 5 npcs so it can stay between us in terms of understanding heh…

1. Az - MY GOAT OAT he’s funny he’s tragic he’s stupid he’s the strongest guy there is he’s an alpha he’s kept on a tight leash he’s everything to me bro. Not a day goes by where I’m not thinking about the perfect balance he strikes between comedic teenage arrogance and the unwavering grief of a young man absorbed into a world of violence during some of his most vulnerable moments. fuck bro.

2. Charon - I think this mostly goes without explanation as one of the most recurring npcs and another case of a tragic yet (at times) comedic character. He’s just a guy but he’s also the fucking joker. He sucks but he’s also literally cursed and trying to do his job. I need him chained up and groaning on it . Another case of character who can’t feel but the fact he used to while Lane has always sorta been that way fuuuck . It’s so captivating when a bit of that feeling slips through the curse too like fuuuck

3. Menodora - Top tier narrative haunting and the few times we have seen her have been VERY impactful and, again, haunting. There’s mystery and intrigue around her by design but still so interesting to see AND fun to draw . but I can’t capture her beauty ueueuee … but yeah every time her name comes up from another npc I’m immediately sat straight up and locked in I get so excited when she’s around…

4. Lane - I love a character that wins in dgaf competitions I love a character that is always in a suit I love a character that’s numb as fuck I love a character that is never what others want out of them so Lane is genuinely a home run in my book yessss distort and open the black hole!!

5. Javier - he doesn’t say much but fuuuck bro his aura is practically unmatched. and the recent bombshells between the “temple” and then the forest unnh

Honorable mentions include: Teidaryn, Luce, Nuria, Clement, Deuil, Shurik, LP (favorite in a “wow this guy REALLY sucks” sort of way), Porthos (same as LP), and Aramis (same as Porthos and LP but she sucks AND she’s a yurious loser. And there’s always the shadow of her duties hanging over her interactions with the party unnnh). oh and Jonathan since he counts as NPC now. I also love Saeth and Dr. Notnice for pervert reasons … I like a lot of the NPCs I fear…
