A Piece of DM advice!
The DnD (or D&D if ur one of THOSE people) community is always talking about the local legends among DMs like Matt Mercer and Griffin McElroy. These two are examples of amazing DMs by their own standards, but as a DM, don’t think for a second that you have to be like these two in order to be a good DM! A great DM is unique, and has their own styles! If you’re a player, don’t expect your DMs to be exactly like Griffin or Matt. I promise you that every DM has something amazing to offer!
DMs, don’t be shy or feel insecure about your DMing, and feel like you will play in the shadow of Matt and Griffin. You have your own strengths, and you have the power to create something amazing of your own!
