Introducing Travis, another farm hand~

Official info for Iris
Name: Iris
Age: 23
Pronouns: she/her
Sexuality:Biromantic Asexual
Birthday: Winter 10
Likes: Thunder Egg, Dinosaur Egg, Books, Dinosaurs, Dancing
Dislikes: anything to do with robotics, discussing her past, Joja Cola, Truffle Oil
History:
Iris was one of the top workers in the Joja office place, and was surprised when she was told if she participated in a “workplace evaluation”, she would be eligible for a substantial raise.
If she had known that the evaluation would break her, she wouldn’t have agreed.
The “evaluation” tested her performance in a small room. She finished the requirements rather quickly, unsure of why she was alone in the room. As soon as the final words were typed, a gas began filling the room. She began to feel light-headed, and within seconds, she had passed out.
When she awoke, she was furious. It wasn’t until she tried to blink that she realized… she couldn’t blink. She could still see, even when she tried to close her eyes.
She became aware that her hands felt wrong, like they weren’t hers but still attached to her. She looked at them, and was shocked to see bright metal instead of skin. Her eyes showed no emotion, and were black, with red pupils.
As soon as she could, she fled. She had an odd looking visor, a pair of gloves, the clothes on her back and the deed to her grandfather’s old farm in a bag. The visor was to hide her eyes, the gloves to hide her hands.
Old habits die hard, and she finds it difficult to connect with the villagers in Pelican town. She’ll occasionally say things like “Can’t talk on the clock” or “When there’s work to be done, resting can wait.”
She’s terrified of anyone finding the truth. Maru’s interest in robotics scares her, but what scares her more than anything else is a question she often asks, when staring at her hands.
Is she more human, or machine?
One of the few things Joja never took from her was her love of dancing. If she’s alone, she’ll dance to forget.
